Hello all! One of your new recruits here, looking forward to joining the fun!
I'm currently leaning towards an arcane caster of some type, maybe an Arcanist or Unchained Summoner.
DM: anything we new folks should know before we start fleshing out character ideas? What changes apply backstory-wise? Are we also orphans/dragons-to-be?
GM Deadly Secret
Yes you are also orphans on the path to discovery. You were just raised in a different town run by a Monarchy. A good King of the land. If you want to flesh out backstories let me know what you'd like to work with and we can come up with something. Avoid builds that will transform you as that may or may not become a thing by itself. *wink*
Ammon Knight of Ragathiel
hello all im the other new recruit.
im leaning toward a slayer scout type character. throwing around a few different ideas at the moment.
Varian Nalia
Hey guys, Ammon again. I've decided on a Nature Fang druid. I used traits to get disable device and im going to use a slayer talent at 4th level to get trapfinding.
I think it works nicely as a rogue like character.
I went with Gnoll and otherwise my build is melee centered
As far as backstory goes. He's an orphan with a bit of Amnesia. Can't remember much. He catches a lot of blame for reasons unknown to him. Favorite activities include caring for animals and studying languages
wields a scythe
Tamrel
Alright, here's Tamrel. Apprenticed under a local witch until the recent events. At one point during the attack, this glowing figure appeared just in time to save Tamrel from an enemy blow, and now he's kind of following him around. It's very strange. The figure claims to be Talren's great-great-great grandfather, but Talren's not sure he believes that.
Still got some cleanup to do on the sheet, but everything should be there.

Hey everyone.
I'm really sorry about the delay. Our company has gotten some new hands on deck, and I've been helping train them. Which is cool, but also cuts into my time to do anything. I should be back in action relatively soon.

Hello everyone,
Hope you all had a great weekend. I ended up taking the rest of the weekend to enjoy the vacation and now I'm back to work. I will have everyone's threads updated at some point today as I have many to get through. Thanks for your patience and let's get this ball rolling again.
Happy Gaming!

I'm really sorry for going quiet for a bit, all. My little sister and parents had to run up to Philadelphia for a cardiac MRI (scheduled it for Friday morning, let us know Tuesday at 3:15... thanks, CHOP...), which left us scrambling a bit and me with a significant shortfall of time.
Things should be more stable now, just wanted to let folks know. Sorry for going a bit dark. :(

I must admit it's been a little hair pulling to get this game in motion and not sure I can keep trying to push. I'm going to call this game dead. Sorry to the two new players looking to join up. I do have an alternate game that is a bit further along that I can get you into if you want. Let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Sorry we weren't able to keep it moving.
Happy gaming everyone!

I'm sorry that things bogged down like they did. In all honestly I'm at an impasse as oto how to do anything since my interpreter vanished like he did. I have had a lot going on IRL that have bogged me down as well so my appologies for that as well.
I was looking forward to seeing how it would all go but I understand the need to close the game down and I'm very sorry that I was a par tof causing that.
