Duglan hustles down the stairs. (you can move past Gromtheb, but because you went before Harris, you would have had no place to stop.
Harris moves to G0, drawing his sword.
Quinn follows, then casts silence. Complete silence falls around him.
Velinari draws his crossbow and moves behind a table.
Gromtheb fires twice, but misses with both shots.
It's Alaba, though her eyes blaze with red light, and her mouth is horribly distorted into a hungry maw, while her fingers are twisted claws of bone. She is still wrapped in her funeral dressings, thorougly soaked with blood.
From above, you hear Gordel call out Wha' in Gorum's name's goin' on dow' there? If tha bastard's come ba', yeh hold 'im fer me.
Alaba ignores those setting up in the room, and jogs towards the stairs, moving with an eerie smoothness. She hisses at Gromtheb and Duglan.
Also, I want to thank you guys for get this back up and running with a bang! As you can see, we covered the last 50 posts in just 3 days, tied for the second-fastest rate of play in all my records. Keep it up!

Harris runs to G-2 and shouts, "Not so fast!"
The air around Alaba shimmers with near-invisible sharpness as Harris's shout rends flesh.

All attacks are slashing and resolve against touch AC. Each hit allows a separate DC 16 Fort save for half damage. As a supernatural ability, it is also not subject to any SR she may have.
"Duglan! Keep her from getting upstairs! Gromtheb, see to Gordel! Make sure nothing happens to him! The rest of you, keep her distracted, but DO NOT destroy her!"
Quinn Belfeser
If Weird Words has a verbal component you might want to step slightly farther away from Quinn.
Quinn delays until Alaba's next action, where he will move simultaneously with her, shadowing her as closely as possible. If necessary (including this next turn), he will immediately use his Anklet of Translocation to teleport 10 feet closer to her to keep her in the radius of the Silence effect. This is all Quinn does.
Sorry for silencing y'all, but I think the lack of cowering is worth it.

Gromtheb runs upstairs and you hear him yell "DID YOU MURDER ALABA?!"

EDIT: Oh hai Gromtheb, nice to post the exact second as you :)
Velinari
Velinari shifts his weight to the balls of his feet. With the lithe of a dancer Velinari twirls producing a blade in his free hand, and in one swift motion strikes at the ethereal creature. Continuing his dance, another twirl brings him out of the creatures reach and next to the bannister.
Spring attack ending in [D,-2]:

Also, Duglan, you go before Harris.
Duglan steps to Alaba, his blade biting deep into her flesh.
Harris's words follow behind, shredding into her and opening half a dozen new wounds alongside the older ones.
Quinn teleports closer to Alaba, then keeps close by.
Velinari leaps at Alaba, and his blade finds something not at all ethereal.
Gromtheb runs upstairs.
Alaba slides under Duglan's guard and grabs at him with her claws. He staves off one of the attacks, but the other digs into his flesh, dealing 13 damage as she grabs on to him. (Duglan is now grappled, beat CMD 26 to escape).

Seeing Duglan grabbed, Harris immediately bellows "Release him!"
Using liberating command as an immediate action at the end of DM's turn. Duglan may make an escape artist check as an immediate action with a +12 competence bonus. There is no requirement that the recipient be able to hear the caster, so...
Duglan spots a momentary opening in which he may be able to break free.
On his turn Harris casts disguise self to make himself appear to be Gordel and moves to J-4.

Duglan attempts to take advantage of the sudden opening that Harris provides for him.

This fails. Duglan struggles to get out of the grapple by brute force.
CMB:1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
Sadly, this does not work as well. Duglan gets the sense that if he had pushed "1 roll" higher, he would have gotten out of that mess.
Gromtheb Zugwag
Does Duglan get an AAO for the grapple? Just thought I would ask...
"Alaba is downstairs, back from the dead. She has come to kill you."
Gromtheb shifts to the top of the stairs and fires twice at the undead monster holding Duglan.

As Velinari continues his deadly dance, the flicker of the room seems to play tricks on your eyes. The faint shadows cast from the fireplace seem to move towards Velinari, as if being collected by his movements, slowly at first but then more rapidly the shadows seem to obscure him from view, making him all but disappear.

Velinari jump through the stair's banister, in a parkour esque style. Swinging himself into [C,-3]

GM-jkbc
Oops, kept waiting for Quinn, forgetting he'd just continue doing what he'd been doing.
Harris, your command does not work. Because Alaba is in the area of Silence, both she and Duglan are unaware of your attempt. And no, no AoOs.
Duglan struggles, but is unable to break free of Alaba's grasp.
Harris looks a hell of a lot like Gordel.
Velinari vanishes from sight.
Gromtheb... I have no idea how to adjudicate this one, given that there's a (basically) invisible Velinari in your shot that you don't know to aim around. So I'm going to say that there's a 30% chance that each attack will target him instead. And because she's in grapple, I'm applying my usual 20% chance you target Duglan (precise shot negates penalties from melee, but not from grapple). I know both of these are home-rules, but this is my home and I rule. :-P
1d100 ⇒ 34
1d100 ⇒ 90
First shot targets Alaba but misses.
1d100 ⇒ 72
1d100 ⇒ 71
Second shot targets Alaba and hits. You're a lucky man.
Alaba attempts to throw Duglan out of her path, but he manages to hold his ground. Then she looks up and sees Gordel at the top of the stairs, and her mouth opens in a silent shriek of rage.

Crit Fumble: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30 why couldn't those rolls be reversed?!

He then moves down the stairs and stands over his sword.
GM-jkbc
Duglan and Alaba continue to struggle, neither gaining the upper hand.
Harris approaches the fray.
Velinari readies himself to strike.
Gromtheb casts a spell, then moves down the stairs.
Gordel shifts on to the top of the stairs. He looks sorrowfully down at Alaba.
Alaba, clearly enraged, picks up Duglan and bodily throws him off the staircase. (10 damage) Recovering quickly, she charges at Gromtheb, but Velinari appears out of nowhere, blocking her path and slashing at her with his knife, though it skids off her unnaturally tough skin.

Duglan, who landed on his feet, grabs his fauchard. I could be a b@$+~ here and say it's in C-2 to C-1, but instead I'll say it's in C-2 to D-2, and thus you can grab it without shifting. He attacks Alaba, his mighty blow sending her reeling.
Harris launches sonic blades at Alaba, but they wink out of existence upon encountering the edge of Quinn's spell. (Also, Duglan is in E-2, so I'm putting you in E-3)
Velinari attacks again, but Alaba barely manages to parry, and as he springs around her, she grabs at him, though Velinari adeptly dodges just outside her reach.

"Gordel! Run! Get out of here if you want to live! The tree outside Alaba's window perhaps! Don't worry, she can't hear us! Go!"

He then takes a step towards Gordel, finger pointed accusedly. "You. Yeh got anneh reason fer why yer daughter would come back from th'dead hopin to bring yeh to the grave along wit th'rest of us?"
Having spoken his mind, he reaches at his belt for a small vial, uncaps it, and chokes down its contents.

Gromtheb dismisses the bane on his bow (3 round remaining) and picks up his greatsword, puts away his bow, and walks over to Alaba, ready to strike her is she gets up (not a readied action, just ready to take an AOO) "We need to restrain this anathema and fast. I don't think that it is going to stay down for long."
Ser Harris Halford
"Fascinating as the abomination may have been, Velinari, I don't believe this to be the time or place for study," Harris says evenly before turning to Gordel. "In any case, your daughter seems to have become a type of undead called a revenant. Such beings tirelessly pursue vengeance on those who slew them. Now, for whatever reason, she seemed to become enraged when she saw you. So either you killed her or her killer somehow impersonated you when he, she, or it killed her." He pauses, thinking. "Unless a spellcaster capable of creating and controlling undead creatures is trying to create the impression that one or both of the above scenarios is the case. Either way, we need to find out who or what is really behind this."

Well ah sure as th' planes above didn' kill mah own daughter. An ain't no spellcasters here 'cepting you all an th' Father, so unless you's did it I'm guessin' I was impersonated.
