The swarm is finally destroyed! As you gather your bearings you see the room before you. It appears to be a very advanced manufacturum probably where they build these metalic abominations.

"These things arent even good to produce sparring drones. I say we rid the galaxy of such wasted construct "

Draex spits on the ground, still breathing heavily trying to hold his own.


"We have no resources other than what we have in our hands. We need to be very careful about what we expend energy on. If it doesn't serve a purpose to destroy something, we should conserve ammo."


Taloc grins at Deathraven underneath his helmet and chuckles "No, he wants to hack it to pieces Brother. It may not bleed but even simple destruction will please the nails that drive Draex, or so I am beginning to gather".


"We need to get rid of this drone insects, another explosion like before may not be a suitable outcome" looking at Draex "Nor a guarantee this time that it will deactivate this drones"

Taking large strides Menstras runs across the catwalk towards the far end of the chamber.

[Ooc]I'm assuming the moving walls are thousands of tiny legs. Else he continues to examine the strange machines. Either way he still condemns Aldegund's shot.[/occ]

The horde that was attacking you is destroyed. The ripples of moment on the walls right now are just walls themselves not scarabs.


When the blasts hit the walls it damages them but then quickly returns back to it's normal state. It's almost as if the room if made of living metal.

"I would recommend to destroy it, we have no means to transport anything other that what we can carry ourselves, so I rather have this place destroyed somehow or we risk facing more skeletons and insect drone on every turn"

Caps, is there another way to go from here? What is around us, not getting a good feel for this spot like we had before the translocation.


There does not appear to be any other exit from this room than the one you can in from. The technology this xenos race is using is beyond anything any of you have ever seen before. Machines that repair themselves, even walls...

Menstras you realize looking around this is a very strategic point for this xenos race and if you stay here for along period of time there surely will be a lot more enemies coming this way.

Draex tares into the machinery doing what he does best while the rest take tactical procedures to move into the next room while smashing into the equipment he ponders

Draex coughs up more blood on the machine and the lava like fluid starts to corrode the alien work.


Your group travels deeper into this mechanical tomb. You step through a passage into a chamber beyond, you find yourself precariously balanced on a narrow balcony. Before you, a massive, slab-sided tower stretches over 100 metres above your heads into darkness and below you as far as your eyes can see. However, just above you, the tower has a cavernous hole bored through the centre. You can just make out a black orb filling the
hole, surrounded by crackling green lightning. The inanimate bodies of countless mechanical creatures drift towards the orb on invisible gravitic fields to vanish within its depths.

Next to you on the platform is a flickering glass globe inset in the wall.


"I should destroy the globes... but the explosion from last time didn't leave Draex well, so we need to find cover before we do such a thing this time"

Not necessarily, we had a Skype session once where myself, Draex and another player no longer with us failed 25 of 33 rolls, no exaggeration. Somehow, those 8 successes were enough to allow us to win. Aldegund knows, this is not the only game where the dice roller Gods fail me...

None of you are unable to operate the device. In the distance you can see the machine creatures vanish from view and new ones come into view almost like they are teleporting but they do not notice you. There is no other way in here but back out into the structure.

You travel further in dispatching random metal warriors but never encountering anything large force that would do your group much harm.

You make it to what seems like would be the center of the complex and see a giant Monolith. It's a massive, obelisk-shaped structure. It is partly buried beneath the rock of the planet, within a cavern that is more than 50 metres in diameter and 20 metres in height.

Near the Monolith you see 5 very large machine warrior types with large shields and what looks like some kind of power swords and another smaller machine warrior with a large power staff that appears to be giving them orders.

Make stealth checks to not be seen and get the jump on them.
