This is Council of Thieves AP. Westcrown, City of Twilight, once was the center of Aroden's faith, but now it symbolizes despair. By day, the city remains a vibrant center of trade; but, by night only those with a death wish venture out.

In re-reading the spell it probably would not work to compel lucrezia, since she was being grappled and she was not threatening Grimm, plus she was not attacking Truk. Odd spell.

Yeah, the wording to it is a bit odd. It's like they tried to give you a 'taunt' button as a spell.

Well now, this is quite the find. Breath of Life is a healing spell that can bring back those who have died, but it has to be done within seconds or it won't work. Plus they can't have taken so much damage that their body has been ruined.

Lucrezia you figure out how to open the door that leads in to a secret passageway. The stonework is a fine quality.

Are those stairs near me? If so, do they go up or down?

The tunnel to the west of where Grimm is on the maps just dead ends into a stone wall. the tunnel intersection that Lucrezia is at runs north and south then each disappear around a bend.

This map show the staircases that I mentioned previously. I moved the avatars to reveal it. Note they are still lined up on the stairs thought.
Tunnel and Bar Map
What may have once been a small cheerful bar shows that this room once acted as an underground tavern. Several shelves for wine bottles fill the western half of the room. Most of the wine bottles are smashed, the furniture likewise ruined, with the exception of a strangely child-sized table and set of chairs that seems to have been built out of scavenged parts from larger furniture that sits on top of the bar itself. You can see four toys sitting at the table that is set with chipped tea cups.

John grabbed the stats off the first long sword on your profile, the cold iron, longsword you had listed.
The dolls sitting there are the dragon, the bear, a straw man, and a doll.
The door opening clearly startled them, there is the sound of clanking of tea cups on the table. "W...w...w..wha...what are you doing there?"the bears asks.
That is followed by the straw man saying, "Sneaks."
