Looks like Lefty takes 4 con damage and Baergar takes 2. Just waiting on Manisha now.

Manisha casts a spiked pit under the cloudkill. At 50' of depth, the cloud will fall into the pit unless he spends his move action to pull it out of the pit.

Both Ghaele's change into their light forms.

If Manisha manages to get the pit under TB, his reflex to jump to an open square is DC 28 plus whatever penalty he may have for not knowing where a safe square is due to the cloud. If he ends his move adjacent to the pit, he gets a +2 on the save to avoid falling in.

As a high level wizard, Tar-Baphon probably has a flight spell up, so this is assuming he just avoids the pit.

Once Tar-Baphon is visible, with her magic constantly having to face a wall of spell resistance, Lorelei fly-charges at the lich and takes a swing with Rose. She feels her swing going wide, so she quickly adjusts herself to make the final result better. Sadly, it is not.

Rose Attack (Charge, Power Attack): 1d20 + 36 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 36 + 2 - 4 = 37
Rose Attack Fortune Revelation Attempt 2 (Charge, Power Attack): 1d20 + 36 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (2) + 36 + 2 - 4 = 36
Damage (2d6 Holy): 1d6 + 23 + 8 + 2d6 ⇒ (6) + 23 + 8 + (5, 1) = 43

Tar-Baphon will also get caught in her Silence spell. Might as well roll that SR.

Silence SR: 1d20 + 18 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 18 + 4 = 26
Nope.

I forgot about the Ghaeles Manisha. Rolling their fort saves now.

Ghaele #1: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (6) + 17 = 23
Ghaele #2: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (9) + 17 = 26

Looks like they both die to the poison. Let me get a map up, and then star, I need to know what direction you were trying to leave the cloud in.

Map is updated in campaign info. Recap so far:
After interrupting the ritual that would cause him to turn into a god by having all the wards that were locking him in here slam into his body (which, btw, incidentally killed Urgathoa, but we will get to that after this, assuming you guys survive). Manisha sucked TB into her robe after some spells were traded, and then TB came out and dropped some spells, at least one of which was a mythic cloudkill. some summoned creatures died, and a bit of poison damage was taken. Star summons a pit, which the cloud will start slowly sinking into (in 2 rounds it will be in the bottom, as it moves 10' a round on TB's turn). I believe that brings us up to date.

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

I think you got our actions mixed up. Manisha summoned the pit. I thought the cloud would fall in instantly, so I decided to punch Tar-Baphon in the face.

Given that the cloud is still in place, it seems that will not be happening as I intended. However, according to the map, Star is right next to the edge of the cloud. She currently has a 150 fly speed, so I can see her launching out by accident and then trying to punch the lich.

The cloud only moves on the casters turn. It has no weight, so it wouldn't fall when the pit opened. I did say that you summoned the pit, but other than that it stands. I have a specific reason for asking which direction you're going.

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

Seeing as the eastern wall is closer to her, she would probably try flying upward and west because she knows there is more open space in the direction.

As Star flies to the west, she hits a solid wall that is not visible.

F Peri-blooded Half-Celestial Aasimar Wizard 8 / Arcane Savant 7

unless this cloudkill is also varying from typical rules, it does have weight as it specifically states that it is heavier than air and will flow to the lowest points of an area. Also, the cloudkill starts as a 20' radius. Since I, and both the ghaele's are 30' from TB's return point, the cloud should not be a factor until next round, assuming that TB doesn't spend his move action to keep the cloud from falling into the pit instead of spreading out. If TB does use his move action, he can only move it towards one of the ghaele's as they went in different directions.

Manisha moved up, Ghaele #1 moved 30' in one direction, Ghaele #2 moved 30' perpendicular. I placed both in appropriate spots on the map, along with the spiked pit.

Cloudkill does have weight, but it only moves on the creators turn.

Male Dwarf Ranger 17/ Dual-Path Champion/Guardian 10

My understanding is that it can only be moved on the creature's turn. It still acts like fog. It must fall into the pit immediately, just like it would blow away if someone cast gust of wind. Just my 2cp.

Also, I'm out of town with limited internet this weekend. FYI.

PRD wrote:
Unlike a fog cloud, the cloudkill moves away from you at 10 feet per round, rolling along the surface of the ground.

seem to me like it would move on the caster's turn.

Male Dwarf Ranger 17/ Dual-Path Champion/Guardian 10

Right, but "rolling along the surface of the ground"...The ground dropped, the fog follows. It's physics.

don't get your physics in my dnd!

I see my mistake, now. Damn.

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

Lorelei Dimension Doors past the wall.

Getting outside of the fog, Lorelei can definitely see dimensions of the walls of force, one for the eastern and one for the southern directions. when combined with the natural wall, it makes for an effective killbox.

It is lefty's turn btw, with Baergar on deck.

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

"He boxed us in with Force Walls!" Lorelei tells the group through the Telepathic Bond.

ya, I updated the map that has been in campaign info.

Sorry, missed it before.

Using tricky spells, Lefty casts a quickened dimension door, going 50' or so east. he'll then cast Mage's Disjunction, centering it so that it covers as much of the walls and fog as possible without touching Manisha or Baergar.

If it breaks the wall(s) and the spells, he'll look for TB, then determine his move action. He'll need to see the result, first.

You can still dimension door if you want, but it will end your turn, per dimension door.

M Elf Rog 1/Wiz 7/Trickster 10: Init +13; Perception +24; AC 33 (), 22 () T, 26 () FF /hp 185/185, Saves F +16, R +21, W +8; +2 vs. enchantment

OK.

I will assume that lefty still wants to get out of the death cloud, so unless he says otherwise, i'll imagine that he casts a dim door and ends his turn. That will make it Baergar's turn.

Male Dwarf Ranger 17/ Dual-Path Champion/Guardian 10

Baergar uses his boots to teleport next to lefty out of the death box.

Good call. Will get his next actions up later today or tomorrow.

F Peri-blooded Half-Celestial Aasimar Wizard 8 / Arcane Savant 7

Manisha is up in the air, near the ceiling, likely out of the box. Unless he did floor to ceiling, which would eat up a big chunk of the spell area.

Tar Baphon will cast a pair of spells, one aimed at each Ghaele.
Will Save for Ghaele 1: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (19) + 16 = 35
Will Save for Ghaele 2: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 26

Percentage dice for #2: 1d100 ⇒ 59

He cast banishment on each Ghaele. Ghaele #1 barely made the save, but ghaele #2 was returned to his home plane.

That will take us to Manesha.

F Peri-blooded Half-Celestial Aasimar Wizard 8 / Arcane Savant 7

Ghaele #2 also gets a SR roll vs 25? Did TB spend a move action to control the fog, or is it now in the bottom of a pit? To confirm, TB cast two spells? Since the Ghaele's were too far apart for one spell to hit both of them.

perception to hear TB casting the spells: 1d20 + 32 ⇒ (3) + 32 = 35

Any indication of where TB is? Since spells can't travel through a wall of force, he would need to be someplace where he had line of effect to both Ghaele's

The cloud moves 10' down the pit. From inside the deathbox, he sounds like he is casting to the NW of you. He is on the map.

F Peri-blooded Half-Celestial Aasimar Wizard 8 / Arcane Savant 7

The perimeter of the force wall (even bending the wall into shapes) is 7 units, 10 if it is continuous and not a "U". To make the wall go all the way to the ceiling (I seem to recall you stating it was 40' high, and would require 28-40 units/caster levels.) Manisha is near the ceiling, and invisible. Whether or not she is inside will determine what she does.

If above the force wall:

Manisha casts black tentacles around the area she heard tb cast from.

Otherwise:

Manisha casts dimension door to the top left.

the walls of force go floor to ceiling.

F Peri-blooded Half-Celestial Aasimar Wizard 8 / Arcane Savant 7

Dimension door then, can't cast through the wall.

DD it is then. That will take us to Star.

Reposting intiative, cause it's been a while since I've done so:
Manisha
Star
Lefty
Baergar
Tar Baphon

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

Lorelei flies at Tar-Baphon and tries to punch the lich in the face.

Crap, sorry. Missed her post.

Isabela's attack with star is ineffective.

Lefty will use a TB point to add his bab to an impromptu ranged touch sneak attack.

acid arrow: 1d20 + 31 ⇒ (2) + 31 = 33

acid dmg: 2d4 + 7d6 ⇒ (2, 1) + (6, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 5) = 21

I'm guessing that's a miss.

Female Human Deaf Dark Tapestry Oracle (Dual-Cursed) 17/Hierophant-Trickster 10

Yeesh, and I thought I made Star hard to kill!

King of Goblins *MAP*

Just not my day, I guess! lol

Lefty's acid arrow strikes home, sizzling as it lands in a particularly weak point. He howls in pain and turns his baleful gaze towards lefty.

That takes us to Baergar.

Yay! Concentration check DC 31 + level of spell he's casting. He might fail that.

Male Dwarf Ranger 17/ Dual-Path Champion/Guardian 10

It'll be sometime tomorrow that I can post.

bump.

I'm gonna give Baergar til tomorrow to post then I'll just have him move and attack.
