They have standard fire warrior armour and pulse carbines

Blood Angels Assault Marine

Initiative: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13

Vittore shouts, "For the Emperor!" and brings his two power swords to attack, targeting the front-most pair of Tau warriors.

Are they point-blank? If so, +30 bonus. Rolls under 77 hit. If not point blank, then rolls under 47 hit.

Attack #1: 1d100 ⇒ 70
Damage #1: 1d10 + 6 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 8 = 23

Attack #2: 1d100 ⇒ 40
Damage #2: 1d10 + 6 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 8 = 19

6 Pen through Armor

Imperial Fists Deathwatch Librarian Rank 1 Wounds 20/20

Reminder: point blank only applies to ranged attacks. Melee attacks would technically always be at "point blank range".

Corbulo, from the back, will wait and see if his brothers can deal with the Xenos. If any of them keep standing at the end of their Brothers attack he will try a single shot with a Kraken round to the nearest surviving xenos not in melee (or in melee if no other exists), in the head.
Using Bolter Mastery Solo Mode and Red Dot Sight. Not considering:
- If Short Range (<75m) +10 BS
- Into Melee -20 BS
- Called Shot -20 BS
¿Question: Can he Aim?

Attack BS 81: 1d100 ⇒ 99
Damage Pen 8: 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
I don't like the sound the Bolter just did :S

This my friend is known as a jammed weapon.

Ultramarines Tactical Marine

Corbulo mentally thank the Emperor. He is certain that if his hand hadn't stop the bolt, he would have injured one of his brothers.

Initiative: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Vultur, quiet as his own shadow, moves forward to engage the enemy.

Morgan Shaw and Vultur you both get to act before the fire warriors.

Vittore has slain one of the Xenos and is locked in combat with a second. The other 2 are in the open about 10 meters in front of you.

His autogun useless against the armored fire caste Morgan steps to the side to clear the way for others to engage the enemyand switches his autogun for his bolter.

Astartes of the Raptors Chapter Scout Marine Sergeant / Tactical Marine

Vultur brings his weapon to bear and fires at the nearest xeno.

I'm assuming I'm at close range. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

Half action to aim.

Sing Shot; BS:46+10(aim)+10(point-blank)=66: 1d100 ⇒ 3

Not bad. That's 6 degrees of success if it's point blank range. Also, at point blank every two degrees of success count as another hit with the shotgun's scatter quality. That'd be four hits then.

1.Damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

2.Damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

3.Damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

4.Damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Ultramarines Tactical Marine

Xeno Marmalade! Well done Vultur!

Vultur's blast slams into one of the Tau, he looks fairly messed up but is still standing.

The tau in melee drops his carbine, and draws a pistol. Attempting to shoot the assault marine.

1d100 ⇒ 87

His team mates back up and fire at Vultur.

Single shot +10 to BS

1d100 ⇒ 591d100 ⇒ 19 damage on shot that hit 1d10 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19 Pen 4

Only one manages to control his nerves enough to get a good shot off.

Players are up.

Blood Angels Assault Marine

VIttore makes an All-Out Attack against the xeno, shouting "Emperor smite you where you stand!"

[ooc]All-Out Attack grants a +20 bonus to hit. Opponent cannot dodge or parry. Anything under 67 hits.[/dice]

Attack #1: 1d100 - 20 ⇒ (68) - 20 = 48
Damage #1: 1d10 + 6 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 6 + 8 = 20

Attack #2: 1d100 - 20 ⇒ (79) - 20 = 59
Damage #2: 1d10 + 6 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 6 + 8 = 21

Vittore guts the tau he is in melee with. His attacks sending blood spatter all over the space you are fighting in.

Ultramarines Tactical Marine

Are we waiting somebody else? It's Tau's turn?

Vittore is the only one that has acted since the tau's last turn

Brother Corbulo fluidly responds to his bolter jamming and with out pause draws his bolt pistol. He expertly places a round through both of the kneecaps of one of the two remaining fire warriors, The explosions of the bolt rounds leave little left of the tau below his waist. There is now only one fire warrior left, and he is in bad shape.

Morgan fires his bolter a short burst at the furthest Tau warrior.

Semi-auto Burst(53 BS+10): 1d100 ⇒ 37 2 rounds strike the Tau's right leg
damage: 2d10 + 5 ⇒ (10, 9) + 5 = 24 5 penetration per round 10 penetration total.

The last tau explodes in a shower of gore followed by silence. The way ahead Is clear.

I believe stealth now would be meaningless. We must rely on speed instead. Quickly Brother Vittore guide us to the reactor. Morgan says as he exchanges his partially used clip for a new one.

Imperial Fists Deathwatch Librarian Rank 1 Wounds 20/20

"Agreed. Fast and hard. Let us proceed."

Joshua grips his (thus far useless) force staff and makes ready to follow point.

Blood Angels Assault Marine

Vittore nods and then sets to go with controlled haste to the reactor.

Do I need to roll for anything here, GM?

The team moves quickly and begins it's decent towards the reactor. You have just entered the top catwalk of the reactor chamber when an alarm begins to sound.

The reactor chamber is at least 7 levels with catwalks and pipes everywhere. The chamber is about 100 meters long and about as wide. There appears to be no Tau but many drones in this part of the ship. Though it is hard to tell in the confused mass below you. Any explosives placed in here will cause chaos but the mono task servitor states that the prime location is 4 levels down against what appears to be the primary core.

Ultramarines Tactical Marine

Has Corbulo time to repair his Bolter? Can he? What do he needs to roll?
"Let's continue to the prime location, brothers. May the emperor watch over us."

clearing a jam requires a successful BS check and is a full action. If you spent a minute doing nothing else it would definitely be cleared

Ultramarines Tactical Marine

Please let me know when a minute is available, so he can clear it.

When they enter the reactor space Morgan moves to the back of the group. Believing that attacks are now likely to come from that direction.

Ultramarines Tactical Marine

Good thinking, Corbulo escorts the Servitor in the middle of the group now.

The team gets in position and the servitor places the explosives. The alarms are still sounding and everyone is on alert as xenos soldiers may enter at any moment. Brother Corbulo clears the jam in his bolter while the others take defensive positions. Strangely no soldiers have secured the reactor.

As he finishes his task the servitor turns to brother Corbulo "team leader do you wish to have command or timed detonation? "

Ultramarines Tactical Marine

"Servitor, query: How is the command given?"
I think command is better, if we can do it remotely... if not, give us just enough time to clear the premises. How long did it takes us to get here, Browman?

"Team leader, it is given via secure vox feed."

Including that little delay with the fire warriors it took about 5 minutes from once you finished welding your entry point shut until you entered the reactor/ engine room.

Ultramarines Tactical Marine

"Servitor. Answer: Command. Code Word: Astartes"

Brother Corbulo wrote:

where are you wanting to go from here?

Imperial Fists Deathwatch Librarian Rank 1 Wounds 20/20

Towards the docking point? Break contact with Tau ship, transition over, blow their reactor?

Ultramarines Tactical Marine

Yes, back to the airlock (we know the way at least) and outside to the Tau Ship.

The point man, Vittore? Make an awareness check as you leave the top of the reactor chamber and re-enter the passageway back to the airlock.

Blood Angels Assault Marine

Apologies for the delay. I graduated from high school and I've been busy filling out college course things...

"Hold brothers," Vittore orders, holding up his hand in a halting gesture. "I think I sense something..."

Awareness 51: 1d100 ⇒ 94

...it's been a real pleasure knowing you all. XD

Right as vittore enters the hallway he sees a hail of pulse fire come strait at him. But no target that fired the rounds.

Full Auto burst (normal range, full auto +20 =62) 1d100 ⇒ 37

Vittore is hit 3 times for

2d10 + 2 ⇒ (7, 7) + 2 = 16 Pen 4 left leg hit

2d10 + 2 ⇒ (9, 5) + 2 = 16 Pen 4 right leg hit

2d10 + 2 ⇒ (2, 1) + 2 = 5 Pen 4 body hit

Everyone roll initiative

Tau 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Ultramarines Tactical Marine

Initiative roll: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Blood Angels Assault Marine

Initiative: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

GM, how close are they to me?

You don't know as far as you can tell the shots came from thin air.

Imperial Fists Deathwatch Librarian Rank 1 Wounds 20/20

1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 initiative

Still waiting on initiative from some people.
