Dawnilea punches forward with her sabre, snarling slightly as she sees the unholy symbol on the dwarf, thinking quickly how much easier it would be to just cut their throats, as she was trained to do. She shakes her head, No. I'm no assassin, no matter what they tried to do to--, though the thought is cut off by the dwarf's sudden shout.

"Should have just cut your throat after all," she snarls, dropping the light stone and drawing her second blade even as she strikes out with the one already drawn, ..and silence him for good.

By text and lack of the attack penalty, I believe Dawnilea's attack is lethal damage?

Dawnilea pulls no punches as the dwarven follower of Asmodeus startles awake. She drags her jagged blade across his chest with a violent tearing of flesh and drawing of blood. He grunts in pain, before passing out from the injuries so soon following the hearty punch that woke him.

Bardigan rushes into the room as Ganner's target props himself up on his elbow to look at his previous assailant. His eyes just beginning to focus on Ganner, he is not prepared for the punch to the back of the head that drops him face down onto his pillow.

One of the few of them still conscious, bolts to his elbows. Seeing both Dawnilea and Bardigan at head level with his bunk, pulls a light mace from under his pillow, and swings at the woman standing over his bleeding boss. Swinging from his higher vantage doesn't make up for doing it from a single propped elbow, while his eyes are still blurry from sleep.

That's right, lethal damage. To Dawnilea, we lost the luxury of subdual when they woke and started making noise -- especially when they're drawing weapons... Plus, the dwarf was clearly Asmodean and probably a spell-caster, making both the risk even more severe and immediate, and causing her hatred to rise -- so she's all about putting them down quickly and worrying about tending wounds after the threat is over.

If she can still make the choice, Krizta unleashes her attack on the one who tried to swing at Dawnilea, even though he is still prone, so the roll above would be at a -4. No problem if you rule otherwise. I did say only if someone stands.

I'm okay with it, he did become an aggressor, and it feels like the spirit of Krizta's hesitation/ready.

Despite all the conditions working against her, firing on a prone man in an upper bunk during a fight, he prefire preparations launch an arrow solidly into the arm he raised to bring down on Dawnilea. The shot elicits a yelp of pain from the man as his attack went wide.

The only two within Ganner's range are both already unconscious. Is he hitting either of them again? Also, as it came up in another of my games, is everyone able to see the color differences on the icons?

I can see a difference. So, the unconscious ones are the gold color? I am used to color outlines to tell the difference between opponents, so I wasn't sure what the gold was at first. Makes sense now though.

Just thought I'd ask because I didn't realize one of the players in another game was colorblind and didn't know I used color to imply certain statuses.

Ganner is about to deliver a combination of attacks on the woken man, but Bardigan beat him to the punch, literally. As such, he quickly darts down around the bed to swing at the man laying in the lower bunk, but in his haste he messes up his swing in the dimly lit confines by cracking his elbow hard on the bedpost.

Flurry is a full-attack, so moving only allowed you the first swing, which was sadly the '1'.

The last of the men to react follows suit with his bunkmate. Refusing the risks getting up out of a bunk when surrounded by enemies, he instead swings his light mace at the back of Dawnilea's left knee. He's just as sleep-addled as the man above him, and instead his swing hits the bed frame beside him.

Krizta smiles and anyone watching sees fangs suddenly grow within her mouth. (Free action)

Unable to reliably attack in her preferred manner, she decides to take advantage of her prone target and use her natural bloodline ability. She leans forward in an interestingly sinuous manner and bites the opponent in the lower bunk. Close observation shows a trace of greenish liquid around the wound.

Tasha backs into the doorway, arrow still nocked and aimed at the opposite door. If any backup arrives from the commotion, they're in for a nasty surprise. Dawnilea dances a vicious circle, as her blades flash out in the glow of the light pebble. Her right hand blade cuts a sharp gash across the swinging arm of the man on the upper bunk, and her left hand stabs hard into the stomach of the one on the lower bunk. The upper man looks worse for wear, but he's still barely holding on.

Tracking your bite Krizta, but will shift it to the top bunk when your turn comes around. Or if it has a use/day limit, you can forgo it if he gets dropped beforehand.

Following him, in an unusual move that surprises the others, Krizta leans in to grab the man's leg and bite him with previously unnoticed, long, thin fangs.

Drawing two arrows from her quiver, she holds them between her fingers. "I say we go for the door over there as soon as we can.", she blurts out, poking her head out the door, looking left and right, as she makes her way across the field.

Dawnilea pauses, her twin blades raised as she waits for an alarm... then relaxes, wiping her blades on the blankets before homing them. She looks around and says, "Might be able to get one of these lot to talk. But not the dwarf. He's an Asmodean spellcaster. He should stay asleep until long after we're gone...". ...or forever...

She then adds, "Should grab their things, too. Take away their ability to hurt others...and equip those who might join us."

Bardigan shakes his head, whispering after Tasha, "Wait, Tasha! It's black as pitch!" He nods in Kritza's direction, "Let's disarm these ones now like Dawnilea suggests and Kritza is already doing, but there's little point to waking any of them. I say we let them lay and see if we can't get the drop on any remaining guards that are still up. There's a lot less risk in making a ruckus now, as our friends here won't be waking up to the noise." He pats one of the unconscious men on the ankle, then holds his foot up before releasing it and letting it fall limply back to the bed with a dull thunk. "See?" He splits a wide, charming grin, though it maybe hard to see it in the dim candlelight emanating from the pebble Dawnilea dropped on the floor.

Of the unconscious men assembled in the room, the four on the bunks each have only simple studded leathers, a light mace, and a bronze Thrunite pendant. On the corner of each bunk hangs a pair of manacles. The dwarven priest is wearing only his holy symbol and the padding typically worn under armor. Beside his bed rests a heavy mace, the head of it on the floor to allow the weapon's handle to stick upright. At the foot of his bed is a piled suit of chainmail, with a heavy steel shield and longbow resting atop it.

"Do we not count this as a ruckus?", she raises an eyebrow with a smile, poking her head out of the window to see if anyone has heard the commotion in the room. Nodding at Dawnilea's suggestion, she takes a long look at the weapons, taking whichever ones are left. "I think stealing is not that high on the list of crimes for today, is it."

As Dawnilea gathers up the majority of useful gear into a blanket, Krizta does a quick scan of the place for auras. Under the armor rests two fairly dense, full, spherical bags. Each one is about the size of a cantaloupe. It is the two faint conjuration auras in the belt pouch stuffed beside the two packs that get her attention.

Out of curiosity, Krizta glances inside the cantaloupe-looking bags to see what is in them, and then she takes the belt pouch the auras are coming from and attaches it to her own belt.

If she still has time before her group moves off, she digs into the pouch to find out specifically what items the auras are coming from.

Thought an easily dropped sack would work, but stashing the pack just outside to pick up as we leave is likely a better call -- unless one of the things we just found is a bag of holding or similar

Looking in the bags, Krizta sees a white, almost doughy-looking substance, in a semi-liquid state. The belt pouch contains a fair number of coins and two glass vials of liquid.

Krizta wears the pouch and will count the coins later to share with others, as well as identifying the potions.

For now, she looks over at Dawnilea and asks her if she knows what the doughy stuff is. If no one knows, she just leaves it there. It isn't magical, and so she isn't really interested.

With most of the gear of the occupants, who are now in a forced sleep vice a voluntary one, wrapped up into a bundle and deposited by the door, the group discusses how they are going to go forward from this point.

Bardigan plucks up the lit stone on the floor and holds it forward for Krizta to renew her cantrip upon it. Once it's glowing once more, he nods toward the door and grins broadly in the dim candle-like light, "We can try sneaking for a bit more, can't we? It's worked out pretty well so far, after all." Then, with a mischievous wink, he does his best to slink forward out the door and sidles up beside the opposite one across the small courtyard. He keeps the stone covered fairly well, only letting enough light out so that his companions can follow along without detriment. Sidling up beside the door, he presses his ear to it and holds his breath, trying to see if anyone could be heard inside.

Went ahead and moved Ganner and Tasha to similar positions.

Dawnilea examined the door, and found nothing untoward that would be a risk for them going further. The door opens into what is more than likely a kind of warehouse. Though tough to make out exactly in the dim light, the place looks to be stacked with crates and sacks of salt, probably prepared for shipment.
