As Froog holds aloft his holy symbol he yells, "Lander! Burn away the followers of this Deep Father!" and a flash of light bathes everyone leaving only the original escapees unscathed. The stink of burned fish hangs in the air.

It is the crash before a searing randiance greater than daylight erupts from Froog, scorching nearly all. Khaz backs up his attacker with a crush to the skull.

At the head of the shrine, the father continues to pummel his daughter mercilessly...

Froog, satisfied that he's softened the enemy kuo-toa up, weaves another spell to enhance his allies so they can take advantage of the enemies surprise. A soft light begins to glow around Kriv, Ed, and Vic. He then faces off against the enemy in front of him with the hopes he doesn't end up like he did with that hag a few days ago.

Action to cast bless on Kriv, Ed, and Vic. When you make an attack roll or saving throw add 1d4 to the result for the next minute. That takes up my concentration so I can't cast fairy fire or anything else like that.

Kriv chops into the fish like a butcher, splaying his shoulder's meat free, but the fishman yet stands. Cade's arcane explosion blows a hole through the kuo-toa's fleshy stomach, dropping him fast. Vic's rapier point finally finds a vital organ in the bizarre physiology of the one attacking Froog, slumping him to the ground.

A wave of divine energy surges on the party as if guided by a higher force, and afterwards Edlethron thrusts up with his spear with such a force it picks up the executioner high like a shish-ka-bob, before he tosses it into the writhing masses of Sloobludop.

Everywhere people are dying, and the streets splash with blood beneath your feet...the sound of their accent is terrible en masse its like a thousand men choking.

Your archpriest ally is yet engaged in taking down his twisted daughter...

...but the Deep Father seems to be protecting her, as she weaves about unnaturally against his blows.

Khaz decisively ends the life of his assailer, splattering its brain in the pool of blood on the stone street.

Suddenly a great cry of fear seems to wash over the kuo-toa who had waded into Darklake. First one, then another, then scores are getting pulled under and splayed by some unknown attackers. This particular foe does not seem to care about faction.

Perception checks on that for more. You can also do an Int Arcana or Religion on the shrine in its current state.

The two left of Edlethron throw their spears at him...

...but they both simultaneously slip on the puddles of blood and crash to the ground as their spears go wild. One strikes an innocent bystander who had been hiding nearby, killing him instantly. They stand up sloppily and stay in the fight.

The two south of Kriv toss their spears...

Cade begins to mutter and heat is seen coming up from beneath the net a rush of flames come flying out from beneath the net toward the two that through the nets.

Kriv chops at the forearm of the attacker next to him until the hand comes clean off, and the fish faints from lack of blood. Cade bursts forth a stream of fire from his fingertips, roasting the fish with a sickly sweet smell.

Vic fells the kuo-toa calculatingly, but there is hardly a notice...all around is death and blood, fear and chaos. The remaining shrine guard make a last ditch attempt to put the dragonborn down...

Seeing his comrade being swarmed, Khaz did the only thing he could. He made himself into a target. In undercommon he yelled:

Khaz' attack is solid...but a great roar, the sound of a large primate echoes across the cavern, putting everyone again closer to silence. Then a second roar...overlapping the first. Ploop's daughter screams, eyes wild with amazement "Leemooggoogoon!" and soon most of the kuotoa surrounding you all drop what they are doing and stand in fascination, or perhaps magical enrapture.

Archpriest Ploop, struggling with his daughter, uses the distraction to push her off her podium and she falls to the altar, cracking her neck on the hard stone.

Another primate-like screech rises above the burbling cries of the kuo-toa. The dark surface of the water farther out bubbles and begins to foam. A thick, oily tentacle bursts forth, followed by another. Then two monstrous heads break the surface, both resembling hideous, angry baboons with wickedly curved tusks. Both heads are attached to a single torso, and the monster’s red eyes burn with bloodlust and madness. The creature rising from the Darklake must stand thirty feet tall or more, with water cascading down its back and shoulders. Upon reaching its full height, the great demon throws back both its heads and roars!

"Leemooggoogoon! Leemooggoogoon!" the crowd chants as the maddening demon lord saunters toward shore, directly for the shrine.

Not every day you get to throw the Demogorgon at players. :D
I need a charisma or wisdom save from everyone to resist the maddness effect of witnessing the demon lord.

His Silver Warhammer suddenly felt very small in his hand.
