Froog, this must be a gray ooze, but you've never heard of a talking gray ooze. They are highly acidic and have been known to eat through 2 inch thick metal doors in a matter of seconds.

not sure what I need to roll here

AvernusArt 2Grid

To drag them to shore? Nothing. Swim checks aren't required in 5e unless major waves. Also Stool's naturally porous body floats easily. ;)

If you want to stabilize them, which will keep them unconscious but prevent death, its a wis medicine DC 10. This is always true for anyone who goes to 0 hp. There's no negative hp, just a little death save mini game I can explain in discussion if needed.

If you want to get them conscious, they must gain hp. This could happen naturally (5% chance each round during death save game).

They seem to have suffered major blunt damage.

Clever of the drow to hide it so high, very sneaky!" Topsy sarcastically agrees "Those priestesses are some kind of geniuses..."

So in PF a group of 1st level PCs fighting a vrock is like mass suicide. I'm assuming this isn't the case here because the GM threw him at us. Or is that the GM's way of telling us to 'run like hell'? Kind of hard to determine not knowing the GM or the game mechanics...

Khaz, the pool here is an abundant water source, if only you had a way to store it. Also, you think you recognize this intersection as well from your time with the Feldrun. Jimjar is right, the svirfneblin city is indeed that way to the north...but so is the drow city of Menzoberranzan.

Froog/Kriv, quickly collects some water in an upside-down mushroom cap and cleans Kriv's gnarliest gashes. While it doesn't heal the damage, it takes away a lot of the pain. Perhaps the oils in the mushroom cap have some kind of natural anesthetic property.
