Esoteric Magus Tattooed Spell Advice

I've got an Esoteric and just hit level 5. I am having a bit of trouble figuring out what to pick as my Tattooed Spell.

So far I have it narrowed down to a more utility spell over some sort of attack spell.

Shield
Blur
Invisibility

I can post the rest of my spell list if anyone needs/wants to see it.

Any help is appreciated.

Your tattooed spell is just something that you get one more casting of per day and which you can prepare without a spellbook. Since it glows as per light when used I probably wouldn't make it invisibility; shield or blur would be fine. It doesn't seem likely to be important enough to worry much about.

Consider Ablative Barrier. The AC boost will not help you but converting hits to nonlethal can be very helpful. If you have anyone who can heal it will really help them conserve time and spells. Its an hour per level so the kind of thing you might only cast once anyway.
