Carry Companion items?

Advice

I know of the Hosteling enchantment for armor. But for characters who do not wear heavy armor or carry a tower shield that wont work. I understand that you could just buy a tower shield and carry it around but I do not want to do that. I had been told recently that there was an item that does this as it's express purpose but I do not remember what that item was or what source it was in.

The situation I would use this for is for my Aasimar Nature Oracle. She currently has a horse that will eventually become a griffon via the Monstrous Mount feat. (the feather horse!) She doesn't get Reduce Animal or Carry Companion on her spell list. She does have a decent UMD but wont be able to invest a lot of skill points in it as she levels up. I need another method of reliably being able to bring my buddy with me into places that it wouldn't otherwise be welcome or fit easily into.

Some DMs allow to put armor magical properties on Bracers of Armor.

If the intent of your build wasn't having a Griffon, a Greater Best Friend Pendant would have done the trick (functions as its normal version). Hosteling also doesn't work, because your Griffon didn't used to be an animal (like with Celestial/Fiendish Animals), but is a genuine magical beast.

Because of this, your options are really limited to UMDing Carry Companion. As far as I know, that is.

The Figurene of Concealed Companion might be a bit meta-y, but it's clearly meant to solve just this problem. Or if someone in the party has the Alter Self spell available, a Spell-sharing Collar could do the trick.

Yep. I think the item must have been a Greater Best Friend Pendant and it just doesn't work for this character. Its too bad as if it were a spell or class ability from my character it would. Yeah, I think I am stuck with UMD and Carry Companion.
