This might belong on the game section I'm not sure but The idea is name a Magic item that would make a Super hero's life easier. and if necessary reasoning why.

for example
Batman + Handy haversack. Now he has a reason to always have Everything he needs on him at all times.

Green arrow and hawk eye + quiver of endless arrows.

Flash with any agile weapon. better yet a Amulet of the mighty fist with agile.

Iron Man: Philter Of Love.

Let's be honest here. The love triangle between Tony Stark, Bucky Barnes, and Steve Rogers isn't going anywhere, and Iron Man really needs something to seal the deal.

Superman + a wand or other item of Prestidigitation.

Oh no, green Kryptonite! Nevermind, it's blue now, no effect.

Amulet that would combine an Anti-Magic Aura and Immunity to Kryptonite for Superman.

He already has that power in his utility belt. Batman's super power is Crazy Prepared. He always has whatever he needs for his current adventure.

Dot: she has her purse, which is vaguely akin to hammer space.

lol I'm glad this one took off I was thinking it wasn't going to.

Half of all the mutants + cloak of disguise.

Mystique + ring of telepathy

Cable + potion of cure disease.

Superman should wear Illusory pyjamas, there aren't many phone boxes these days to change his outfit.

Now I have a random question, getting back to an old topic from the messageboards:
What happens if a succubus enters a grapple with Rogue?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

it immediately hits number one in views on like all video websites.

Also, Rogue (being Rogue I hope she has high UMD) should carry a Deathward wand. Would make her life easier.

I don't know if it's going to cause some serious imbalance in the Universe, but I'm giving Galactus a ring of sustenance.

A ring of invisibility for Nightcrawler or Kitty Pryde could make them the perfect scouts.

My first thought was giving an efficient quiver to Hawkguy Hawkeye but he doesn't seem like he needs it.

The ring of sustenance is brilliant. I think he would have to still destroy some planets for balance of the universe sake (because apparently it's a necessary function) but he could be more selective then.

Portable hole for the lanterns so they could always keep their lanterns on them but safe.

ring of mind shielding for wolverine.

Jean Grey + Ring of Regeneration

Won't have to wait as long for her to come back to life.

martian man-hunter ring of fire resistance or better yet ring of elemental command fire.

Green Lanterns (and other Lanterns with modifications) with Prestitidation for colour changes (no more yellow weakness) and remove fear access would do an awful lot.

Daredevil plus wand of remove blindness

Now he doesn't need his lame friends to read the texts of phones he steals.

Better yet, just a wand of Cure Light Wounds. He clearly isn't good at avoiding hits...

4 people marked this as a favorite.

Nah, Daredevil + Wand of Darkness. He's got hometown advantage in the dark.

aqua man and a decanter of endless water

Cyclops + Circlet of Charisma

He's considered a powerful mutant already, seems like his weakness is his lack of personality.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I don't think even that would help his personality.

Superman, a ring of friendship.

Seriously, besides Lois Lane, does anyone like Superman.

Jimmy Olsen has the biggest man crush on him ever.

Yeah, but he (thankfully) got shot in the face.

Seriously, one of my favorite parts of Batman Vs Superman.

Why do I not remember that. That is something I would of noticed i'm sure.

I only knew after watching the credits. :-)

A better director would've made it more obvious that it was Jimmy Olsen getting headshot.

But then, that's true of almost every DC movie (Batman Begins the exception).

I stopped watching the main DC movies after Dark Knight Returns. Somehow, they made something too gritty for Batman. I maintain that the LEGO version is the best batman portrayal in a movie yet.

I never was a huge fan of DC, more a Marvel fan before Disney and Bendis appeared. But I did enjoy Tim Burton's Batman and all the Dark Knight saga. Didn't see Lego Batman but the Lego stuff is often great.

Quicksilver + Amulet of Bullet Protection

I liked the first Burton movie... but it seemed like when he did the others he forgot he was doing Batman and started doing new versions of "Big Fish".... or the mindscape version of the Alice computer game.

You know before the movies I always thought Marvel was the darker universe.

The darkness could also use the wand of darkness I think that would make him OP since his only weakness is light.

Mirror master + mirror of opposition.

Spawn and an iron flask i'm not sure what he would do with it but i'm sure he could make good use.

Was looking for a pants magic item for Braniac but apparently he is out of luck he may never have A DECENT PAIR OF PANTS!

Ghost rider + figurine of wondrous power onyx cause I just want to see a nightmare get upgraded by ghost rider to some even more infernal and horrible creature.

Nightcrawler + Hat of Disguise

Reminds me of X-Men Evolution, which I liked.

On a similar note:
Hulk + Sleeves of Many Garments

Purple pants alone no more.

How is his sister the only one that didn't get blue skin?

Rogue is adopted.

azazel was father right?

The original idea for the story involved another woman (Destiny) as the mother of Nightcrawler, with Mystique actually being the «father» thanks to her shifting abilities but they cut it. Maybe too progressive for the time. I think it would have been cool.

What? In the main continuity? I must have missed that.

Of Nightcrawler, yeah I'm pretty sure.

Yup. She's originally from the South, ran away from home when her powers manifested, then fell in with Destiny and Mystique. Legally, she's adopted IIRC and Kurt and Rogue do think of themselves as brother and sister. That said, I think when Chris Claremont was writing X-men he wanted to make them biologically siblings, but I'm not sure on that point.

I'm fairly sure mystique is the majority of the x-mens mother/father.

I thought that she had been raised by Destiny, but that Mystique was her actual mother.

I'm going to look it up and check. :P

Edit: you're right, I'm not sure why I thought that.

My expertise on things comic varies. Rogue however is my specialty :p

One of my all-time favorite characters. And Mystique too.

Possibly both...

But, on topic, any sort of weapon for the speedsters like the Flash and Quicksilver, so that they can actually do some damage, and not dish out a thousand ineffective smacks (or, as I've heard it called, 'a fat stack of jack'). Hitting someone with your fist at mach 1 would break every bone in your hand and arm, if you weren't also Superman-tough, so it would be a terrible idea to try to punch or clothesline people.

On the other side of the equation, any sort of armor (or ring, amulet, bracers, etc. of protection/natural armor/armor) would be a great idea for the many, many characters who have offensive powers or abilities (like Cyclops or Green Arrow), but no defensive capability.

Both weapons *and* armor would be great for those poor schmucks who have neither offense *or* defense, like the original (pre-cosmic fire wings, pre-metal paralyzing blades wings) Angel or people whose powers are more utilitarian or movement based, like telepathy or teleportation or healing.

I think she had a son by saber tooth, I think in one continuity she was Wanda and peters mother. I'm pretty sure she has at least two others but some might be alternate universes. Oh she needs Beads of communication so she can keep in touch with all her family.

Don't make me talk about Pietro and Wanda. Now they want to make them not be sons of Magneto, after so many years... There are things that cannot be played with.
