Mauler Maths- am i doing this right?

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

So, I have an Eldritch Guardian Fighter with a Fox familiar of the Mauler archetype.
They just hit lvl 6. So, now that things are going to get harder, i want to make sure i have my fox's stats right.

My Fighter has 67 HP, so my familiar has 33 HP [I haven't taken Mauler's Endurance feat yet].

Foxes have a base strength of 9, and being a Mauler got +1 Str at 3rd and odd level thereafter, so it's str is 11.
When it goes into it's Battleform, it gets +2 Str in the process- and since it's a Tiny creature jumping Medium in size, also comes with some bonuses

So I'm calculating 18 Str when in battleform.

Now comes the matter of it's AC, as a 6th lvl Familiar, it gets +3 Natural Armor, it loses some of it's dex bonus in the size growth but gains Natural Armor in the process, so I'm only calculating a measly 16 AC [+1 Dex, +5 NA].

Thanks for the help in making sure my battle buddy is in top form.

It should have 17 str. 9+2+2+4

And I'm not seeing where you're getting the extra natural armor from.

I thought the going into the Battleform, it acted as if under the effects of Beast Form.

Tis why i want to get my maths right.

nope, the changes for size you get are off of the transmutation table in the magic section.

I believe it also takes a -2 to-hit from going from Tiny to Medium and it also loses its size bonus to AC, but you don't seem to be counting that in anyway.

At 6th, including original fox numbers and enumerates changes.

Strength = 9 + 2(increased strength) + 2(Battle Form) + 4(size change) = 17
Dexterity = 15 - 2(size change) = 13
AC = 10 + 2(size) + 2(dex) - 2(size change) - 1(dex change) + 3(natural armor) = 14
HP = 33(Half of master)
Remember, you can buy armor for your familiar. It will change size when they transform so you can buy a tiny armor to save on gold. It will not have proficiency but go light and mithral for a 0 ACP. Or at least a mage armor wand.

yea, i think it's time my Fighter invests in some armor for his little friend.

[FYI- He's also a PFS Fighter going through the Emerald Spire.]
