ok here's a really important question.... i'm playing a druid a lvl 4 so far... I know its early yet to worry about this but I'm curious when I'm able to cast huge elementals aka caster lvl 6... would I be able to cast out a elemental huge dragon <note we are playing a quest that we already came across a ice dragon> if I take some of the ice shards from it as a casting element? i.e.. piece of the creature you are casting or familiar with... <maybe the piece would work for me if I could cast myself into a dragon with elemental body 12???> or does the rules stick with just the normal elements <water fire earth air and not for elemental dragons???? IE made of ice, earth, or the such???
also for the record because I am a druid I am running high knowledge nature... keeping it maxed so I can cast anything really for my lvl and maxed perception and maxed handle animal
They both mean Elementals...as per the applicable bestiary entry for Huge Elemental.
so .... yes I can cast dragons when I become that level??? and become an elemental dragon?
only reason I ask this is cus our dm is throwing some serious s*~+ our way and a 523hp elemental air dragon for 6 turns can and will even some of the playing field if u catch my drift
No dragon anything. Elementals only. Air, earth, fire or water. Game is unclear on the other four. But it is just precisely those creatures. Your stats are changed by the Elemental body spell in question. Still, the looks of it are up to you.
elemental dragons are elementals that form looks like a dragon for instance http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/outsiders/elemental puts elemental dragons in the elemental catagory
dragon air elemental states "This massive creature resembles a huge dragon composed of air and vapor. Its great wings are translucent and look like wisps of smoke. Its eyes are hollow sockets of mist though a glint of bright sunlight can occasionally be seen dancing across the surface. Its great tail appears as wisps of smoke or vapor and seems to trail off into nothingness."
and since I can cast huge elementals its in the category.... I just cant summon natures ally a actual dragon of flesh and blood
and if I went to turn into an elemental that's huge id have the base stats of(Elemental Body IV (Huge) (Immune: Bleed, Crit, Sneak (Gain Dam. Res. 5/-))
Air (+4Str, +6Dex, +4NA) (Fly 120ft)
Earth (+8Str, -2Dex, +4Con, +6NA)
Fire (+6Dex, +4Con, +4NA)
Water (+4Str, -2Dex, +8Con, +6NA) (Swim 120ft))
+ what ever added attacks it has for instance smash or vortex

lol indeed this isnt exactly my first time I played a druid but this is the first time this question has come up about that dragon <looked in other sources about elementals and jumped right into a lvl 14 druid before I started my own char in another campaign... fell in love with the power of it when I played but the beginning sucks now I got beast shape this may be a bit better.... but I'm assuming that I can summon those dragons is the main question lol... a simple yes or no followed by the explanation would suffice I know I cant transform into one with the insane ability's so a earth elemental huge with a elemental dragon would be a fierce competition though specially <this last guy soon as we jumped into the room raped him up untill 2 points of life he made it out the window to heal in time before we got back to him to mess him up.... and the 8 archers standing outside tore through my 3 birds I summoned to peck out his eyes... and the other player who had feather fall jumped out the window after him but soon as he got out there he was surrounded by an ice dragon a troll a orc and 8 archers a cleric a rogue and the owner of the castle <note we took the around approach and went str8 to the boss not dealing with the crap> it was almost a wipe but we killed him my wolf. our main tank, and our war priest kicked his ass the the rogue gave up... thank god... but this is after we killed everything that we ran into outside after he floated out the window.....>
The only things Elemental Body does for you is described in the spell.
Being a druid gives you no power over dragons. Nor can you take the shape of one, elemental, or otherwise. Not even Dragon Shaman druids.
