half-elf / half-drow blood of shadows

Advice

I have a question for those of more experience. With the new optional half-elf racial feat blended view, how do you figure out lineage as it applies to favored class bonuses. You have 1 parent as a drow, the other as a half-elf. Does that mean that the offspring only has access to the original half-elf racial class bonus as well as the drow racial class bonus or do they also keep access to the elf and human racial bonuses as well? Hero Lab allows it, but it does not necessarily make logical sense. After all, you are only 1/4 elf or human by that point.

When it comes to rules elements based on race, the only important thing is type and subtype. Half-Elf is the name of the race, but Humanoid(Human, Elf) is the thing that determines what racial prerequisites you satisfy. Even if you are, biologically, 1/4 Elf and 3/4 Human (or vice versa), you'd still be a "Half-Elf" and, moreover, it would be thematic (though, not obligatory) to pursue the feats that emphasize one racial line over the other. Now, at a certain point, one racial quality might get bleached out. But I'd say it'd be more in the range of 1/8 or 1/16. A Human who is 1/16th Elf might, thematically, go for Racial Heritage(Elf) but, again, not obligatory. But an Elf who is 1/16th Human has nothing significant to show for it because any Human portion of their genetics is completely dominated by the Elven portion so this would be nothing more than an Elf with a distant Human ancestor. Remember that a Drow is nothing more than a special Humanoid(Elf) with its own set of racial attributes.
