I'm wondering about this trait. If lets say I'm playing a water elemental sorcerer/ winter oracle/paladin and with the paladin side I took Erastil as my character's deity then is it also possible to worship an elemental lord, that matches my water sorcerer aspect so I can get this trait or am I limited to just worshiping Erastil?

Is this for PFS? If so, you can only receive mechanical benefits for one god's worship. In your case, if you choose an elemental lord to "really" worship, your character can still worship Erastil all they want but can't take feats etc that have worshiping Erastil as a prerequisite.
This limitation is purely for game balance. The mechanics of paladins don't care Whom you worship (if Anyone) so you should be OK.
If this is a home game, your GM may or may not use that ruling, you'll have to ask them.

Think of it this way; it's your character that worships the deity, not their "Paladin side". It isn't like Vatican City where a single person holds two otherwise separate offices of King of Vatican City and Pope of the Catholic Church. So you won't have a character who is a Paladin of Erastil and also a Cleric of Sarenrae and sometimes acts and draws power from his Paladin's Oath to Erastil and other times from his Cleric's Devotion to Sarenrae. The character would be a Paladin and a Cleric who is wholly devoted to a single deity.
