Your description of Stanley, and the idea of an in game KISS made up of bards makes me think of a Brütal Legend style game.

You should have seen some of the old optimizer threads re: bards on the 3.5 boards at TSR. I think they had Dragonheart Bards giving out +10/+10 and +d6 fire damage to everyone in range of their voice.
Rocking out, indeed.
Oh, and if you want an Evil Power, the Horseman of War, Szuriel, would qualify.

^Oh yeah, I forgot about her -- just about as much Sarenrae's opposite as you can get. So now we get 2 independently formed groups called KISS, and neithe will give up the name . . . Awesome!
