I only just noticed that section of my account (together with my activation code).
What is it for?
Anyone have a clue? Admittedly, it's hardly something I need to know, but I am curious.
Is it so that multiple members of one household can have separate accounts but one billing method perhaps?
Now this is just a guess on my part, but it might be an authorization for someone Paizo partners with. Maybe your Tales subscription (they're provided? by a third-party, iirc)

Heya! This new section under "My Account" is intended to eventually house any validation codes or activations with our partners that may reference your paizo.com account (with your permission, of course). We don't have any currently active projects that utilize this portion of your account just yet, however. The code you see is not currently usable anywhere, also. We'll provide an FAQ and any relevant information for the codes/authorizations that may show in that area once we're ready for folks to start using it.
Basically: we're being a bit proactive with that new section :)
