Quick question: are there any known character options that lend themselves well to a character built to use the Taldan Rondelero fighting style (falcata and buckler). I'd love to build a Rondelero swashbuckler but I think that's not currently possible, or am I missing something?

One might be on the way.
Oh, exciting, I must have missed that. So we'll have to wait and see. Thanks.

So, scoffing board, how do you tale a feat at level 1 that has three other feats as prerequisites?
As a swashbuckler (which I felt was implied to be the main topic from the original post)?
1. Free weapon finesse from class.
2. Weapon focus with regular 1st level feat
3. Human bonus feat for the feat itself.
Also, there are three prerequisites, but I would hardly count dex 13 as a prereq (since....why bother with this feat that does dex to damage if you are not a dex build).
There are other ways, of course, as mentioned. They usually include taking something with free feats in general, or it gives you weapon focus for free (kensai, that one cleric archetype, and warpriest come to mind).
I also know that swashbuckler can do dex to damage at level 1 with a nonhuman if you take the inspired blade archetype (which gives weapon focus rapier, which means 2 of the prereqs are handed over for free without spending feats)

Swashbuckler can't get slashing grace with falcata at lvl 1. Falcata is a EWP to use One handed. They get free finesse, plus weapon focus and EWP as lvl1 and human. Inspired gives free weapon focus, but with rapier only.
Kensai can do it, but you'll miss the buckler AC when you cast spells/spellcombat

yeah, I know
Of course, you can do that already, since falcata qualifies for slashing grace.
Admittedly, it is kinda painful right now to use it, since it has EWP, and this board scoffs at the idea of getting slashing grace at a level later than level 1.
And I was just discussing fencing grace as another general dex to damage option, and the one to take if you wanted it at level 1, but didn't want to play a human.

Personally I don't think it's that much of a problem not getting it at lvl 1. Assuming you don't uberdump str, you'll be going 1d8 damage. At lvl 1, you are facing goblins, rats and other s!!+ty stuff, that die easy. If you get str 13 and power attack (a good idea, as piranha strike doesn't work), that's up to 1d8+1. You can survive a few levels until you get slashing at 3.
I think there's too much eagerness to do 2d6+10 at level 1, when most the enemies you face at that level have 4-5 hp
