"The party may redeem a number of cards based on the number of closed locations."
I assume each member is treated as "You" when using the redeem action. There is no way to redeem cards the party doesn't have in possession, correct?
Abyssal Shortcut:
Either the wording on this is too vague and allows for too many possibilities, or ?
"Display this barrier next to a location; the barrier is defeated.
While displayed, immediately after an encounter, you may roll 1d6. On an even result, you may move. On an old result, discard that many cards from the blessings deck."
Can every character use this, or just ones at the location it is displayed? Does it matter at all which location it is displayed at?

Yeah, this FAQ still applies. They only difference is you areb getting to decide as a group amongst all the cards you have.

I'd say it seems to be intended to apply just to characters at the location. Otherwise, I'd assume it would have been faceup next to the scenario card like other temptations are.

I think it should be understood as "For each closed location, any one character in the party may redeem 1 card". Thus closing the loop since FAQ is clear a character can only redeem a card he has (whether nowhere is defined the cards a party has ... although implicit").
Obvious, so doesn't need a FAQ IMHO.
Abyssal Shortcut:
FYI, until I hear back from Vic, we treat it as:
"Display this barrier next to a location; the barrier is defeated.
While displayed, anytime a character encounters a card at that location, immediately after the encounter he may roll 1d6. On an even result, he may move. On an old result, discard that many cards from the blessings deck."

To be honest, such wording would make me think I can only redeem up to 1 card per character. I'm not sure what the issue is with the current wording, as I can see no two ways of understanding it: the party can redeem as many boons as there are closed locations, as long as those boons are owned by the party (it doesn't matter which character has how many of those cards).
