Alchemists with infusion and Haste

How does this work exactly?

Without the infusion its pretty simple, the alchemist can only cast it on himself.

If the alchemist uses infusion to make a 'fake potion' its obvious, its a temporary potion of haste. Glug and go.

But can the alchemist 'cast' infusion on multiple party members? Shake up the test tube of lime and baking soda and spray the contents around? Use a seltzer bottle?

No, it's always only for the person who partakes of the infusion, AFAIK.

I'm not sure I understand the question - if you want to hasten multiple targets, you'll have to whip up multiple infusions. Which the other characters then have to drink in their own time, using their own actions.

It says explicitly in Alchemy that infusions effect only alchemist so if it has multiple targets casting spell, it's overwritten by Alchemy description.

If I remember right, there is a feat that grants him ability to share extracts with other party members.
