Hello everybody!
I’m making my next character and i have been thinking on a character almost unable to fail there attacks, i have a terrible luck when rolling d20 but still i want to make low level a melee character that works even for me. My favorite classes are Cleric and Oracle so if I can I will try to make one of these.
I have read recently about the spells Divine Trident and Flame Blade, and saw that they attack are against touch. So I been thinking about take Sarenrae/Some god with good domain with favored weapon Trident and take “guided hand”.
The blade is like a scimitar and is very thematic for a Sarenrae cleric to use a Scimitar flaming with the power of the sun so I think it can work with guided hand.
Weapon focus and so on are obvious choices, the thing is making the 1d8+ 1/2 cl damage viable at higher levels... So far i know Demon/Destruction domains, maybe some metamagic to max the damage (Maybe burning spell, empower spell or flaring spell)
My plan is when get the nice buffs (blessing of fervor, prayer and so) Start buffing the party and then jump into melee (high wisdom so no problem here)
Thing is, would this work? O it’s a bad idea? Anny suggestion?

The blade is not a Scimitar. You can WIELD IT as though it were a Scimitar. Keep that in mind.
Also, I'm thinking you are hooked onto d20. Divine Trident doesn't exist. There's a spell called Gozreh's Trident, and as you can probably assume, it's only available to his worshippers.
Actually, while Gozreh's Trident was developed by worshipers of Gozreh, its available to anyone who can cast spells of the appropriate level.
There is a sidebar in inner sea gods that allows the religion spells to used by anyone, not just worshipers of said deity.

Hello I think I have a Build for you that you might Like.
Human Evangelist Cleric of Cayden Cailean
Str: 10, Dex: 10, Con: 13, Int: 10, Wis: 20, cha: 10
Domain: Travel or Luck
(Dealer's Choice) Variant Channeling- Ale/Wine, Freedom, or Bravery (Channeling is Sub par so I just turn mine into a utility Tool. Grab is a common thing. Freedom paired with Liberating Command or Grease can help someone get away from some nasty creatures.)
Traits: Wayang Spell Hunter- Spiritual Weapon
Fate's Favored
Feats:
Human: Improved Initiative
1: Spell Focus- Enchantment
3: Toppling Spell
5: Persistent Spell
7: Greater Spell Focus- Enchantment
9: Spell Penetration
11: Divine Intervention
Basically you have most the buffs you will ever need in the Bardic Performance. Only real buffs you prepare beyond that is typically a Luck Based buff. Divine Favor/Power, Prayer.
Your Main weapons are:
Command and Suggestion spells- These can do a TON of work. Hold action till a Mind effecting susceptible target moves to your front liner. Cast Command and tell him Down. Your fighter then will get and AoO from the guy standing up...but it also causes the person to trade Damage that round for Standing back up.
Spiritual Weapon- Comes in rapier form with a 18-20 critical rating. Pairing Wayang Spellhunter and toppling at 3rd level you now can trip foes and do damage at the same time. This is a very effective strat in PFS up until 7th level and in rare cases you get non flying 2 legged enemies. Force damage is great.
Divine Trident A touch attack and your boosted with Bardic performance, Divine Favor and/or Prayer. You will hit even with a +0 str mod and low BaB. Your aiming for a 10-13ish AC a majority of the time.
SO basically in Theme you are a Freaking JEDI. Mind spells (Jedi Mind Trick), Light Sabers (Spiritual weapons and Divine Trident), Superior Movement (if you take Travel domain), Superior Luck (If you take luck domain).
Some nice Items to go with the Cayden Cailean Theme:
Luck Mail
Carouser Retort (Thematic +1 Rapier)
Stagger Proof Boots
Tankard of the Drunken Hero
Red Hound Ring

Not a Problem it really is an older build of mine.
I have lots of Evangelist builds as Cleric, Wizard and Bloodrager are my favorite classes. The caster Cleric is always fun to pull out as people rarely expect it and most new players only view a Cleric/Oracle as a Band Aid/Healbot and not as a Top tier ass kicker that they really can be.
