Shipping damage question.

I recently purchased the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Wrath of the Righteous Base Set from a store and one of the sealed decks had opened during shipment. Most of the cards where perfectly fine or in a workable state but a number of them where also creased.

I contacted the store I purchased the product from but I also wanted to reach out to Paizo too.

Hi Loyal Battle Monkey,

If you purchase a product from another retailer, your first step should be to check with that retailer for an exchange/replacement/refund (they should then be able to get replacement or credit from their distributor, who then gets a replacement or credit from us).

If they are unwilling or unable to assist, please let us know which cards are defective (I would recommend email us a list at customer.service@paizo.com) and we can you replacement cards.

Thank you. They pretty much told me about the same thing (contact the email/make a thread). Since one has already been done, I'll contact that email link that you supplied.


I recently purchased Rise of the Runelords expansion pack 2: The Skinsaw Murders. While my kids and I thoroughly enjoy the game, some of the excitement was taken out of the game due to the very noticeable difference in the shading of the backs of the new cards. They a much darker then the older cards from the base set (and slightly bigger, but that does not pose a problem). This results in us knowing when a Skinsaw Murders expansion pack card is on top of the location deck. This kind of spoils the surprise. Sleeving the cards is not an option as it is just too expensive.

I hope this shading issue does not carry through to the other adventures, as I have ordered the 3rd expansion (Hook Mountain Massacre) and will be purchasing the others in due course.
