sonic thrust question

Rules Questions

I was just playing a game and the GM asked me to post this question for future use.
I was using the spell Sonic Thrust and as the spell says I can attack with my level worth of items as long as they dont exceed the wieght cap. so I put it out as the first attack was from a tanglefoot bag, so if it hits they have -4 dex(-2ac) for the rest of the attacks, then since i have the carpet of flying I had loaded up 10 large great swords(11 lvl assmiar bard) and basically used them as darts at the big bad that was now entangled. mind you I also have the discordant voice feat and the full banner/flagbearrer cheese so each attack was +6/+6 attack/damage and +1d6 sonic. this was doing roughly 150ish damage before dr to the enemy.
so is this legit? if so my bard that usually just buffs, just became a great sword turret several times a day

Liberty's Edge

Yep. But +6 attack isn't terribly accurate at that level. As a ranged attack roll you need to adjust for cover and being in melee, all those ugly modifiers that make sure wizards don't actually hurt anyone with a crossbow. Also, as an instantaneous spell all of the attacks are simultaneous, so your tanglefoot bag won't help the other attacks hit.

Flagged to be moved. This is a rules or advice, but not a pfs issue.

Silver Crusade

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure he was saying it is his normal ranged attack with an extra +6 to attack/damage, not that the ranged attack itself was at +6.

Edit: But yeah, wrong forum.

Grand Lodge

Having read the spell, I don't see anything in there that lets you chose what order the objects hit, they seem to be more or less simultaneous. Much like a barrage of magic missiles. So the tanglefoot bag would hit, but at the same time as the swords.
