Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Liberty's Edge

How much official information do we have about how Brastlewark and the gnomes therein get along with the rest of Cheliax? Obviously there's a story there but the materials I've looked at haven't had much more information than "yeah, there's a Gnomish city over there". I'm writing a scenario (for fun, for my own use) involving a Chelaxian nobleman hiring a Gnomish music tutor for his son, and I want to make sure the details match all the Paizo-official material.

not much Here's the wiki page Looks like campaign setting gnomes of Golarion and Cheliax empire of devils has information. Maybe the new Cheliax book will have more

Specifically, Empire of Devils mentions that the King Thornfiddle mentioned in the wiki article proclaims himself to be king of all gnomes of Golarion, and is a shameless toady to House Thrune.

The general impression one gets is that Brastlewark's gnomes do their thing and House Thrune keeps a wary eye on them since they're so close to the border, with an eager puppet in Thornfiddle that the general populace likely don't pay that much respect toward. I mean, calling yourself the king of your entire race is just plumb crazy, even for a gnome!
