The world breathes magic. The Panda God, the benevolent father sent down by the celestials, watches every corner of the land with his all seeing eye, ruling the united races of the earth with his guidance and wisdom. Hundreds of species, human and inhuman, coexist in harmony. Wars are short-lived and swift, resolved peacefully through the intervention of the Higher Orders.

It sucks.

Drexyl didn’t expect his war to end so soon – not when it hadn’t even been properly won yet. Ousted, stripped of rank and left with nothing but memories, he and his nefarious panel of advisors – Kung Pao Chicken and Salazar Synethii – roam the land in search of adventures to stimulate their despicable senses. But little does Drexyl know that the ultimate war is soon about to begin, a war that even the Panda God may not be able to avert.

After an unfortunate close encounter with the sheriffs of a local township, Drexyl and Kung Pao are forcibly incarcerated in the village's dungeon, awaiting trial and then summary execution. In this most dire of hours, it falls to their cowardly courtier, Salazar Synethii, to set them loose - but how can the slippery snakeman even hope to release his colleagues with words alone?

Drexyl, Salazar and Kung Pao have been walking for four days straight, living off of nothing but raw orc flesh. However, the reappearance of a certain farmhand draws their attention to a number of mysterious disturbances in the local area - disturbances that, with enough gold, they can be enticed to investigate.

Drexyl, Kung Pao and Salazar set off into the forests in search of whatever creature has been devastating the Not-Farmhand's livestock, but during their travels they are set on by a pack of strange beast. However, these are no ordinary kobolds, and they may hold the clue to the Not-Farmhand's plight.

Having dispatched the zombie kobolds, Drexyl, Salazar and Kung Pao come face to face with the forest's enigmatic necromancer - or so they think. Snatched up in a web of lies and deceit, the three villains are drawn into predestined plot that not even angels can save them from.

Having summoned the Demon Lord, Derek the Necromancer prepares to sacrifice the erstwhile Drexyl to his chaotic masters. However, the wannabe sorcerer has underestimated the motives of the abyssal fiend, and the evildoers suddenly find themselves forced into an unfortunate alliance in order to save their very lives.
