Class deck genders

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

I was just curious, now that there will only be 3 characters per class deck how will the genders be distributed? Will the ratio of females to males be randomly chosen? Personaly, I would want the gender of the Iconic in the deck doubled. So the paladin deck for example would have one male and another female since the iconic ,Seelah,is a woman.

If you could choose, how would you all want the genders in the new class decks to be divvied up?

I think gender is one of the least important aspects of characters in this game. So long as they have an interesting idea: ideally an interesting backstory that translates into fun game mechanics, that's what gets my attention.

I'm also a sucker for weird and unusual races - again, just feels like more scope for doing interesting things

I think at least one of each makes sense. Whether that means doubling the iconic's gender or including two the opposite gender doesn't seem quite as important to me, though I can also see how doubling the iconic's gender makes sense. For me, as long as they are awesome I will play them.

It's a mix. The monk deck has two female characters, the druid and paladin decks have two male characters. It will continue to be a mix going forward.

While doubling the iconic's gender initially seems to make sense from one perspective (ignoring all the Sajans, there's an even distribution!), I think you'd find that over time it shifted the gender of your options strongly to the iconic's. You'd have, for example, 6 Harsks and 6 other rangers, for 9 male and 3 female.

Honestly, I'm happy to go with whatever has a great concept and great art, with a watching eye to make sure it's not overly favoring one or the other. With Tanis on the case, I feel safe on the gender split.

Of course we might get far too many insane (crazy, mad, bonkers) characters from her. That's a different issue.
