Taldor/Sovereign Court still has access to noble title (provided you have the Pathfinder Society Field Guide)
Noble Title (Fame 20, 1 PP)
You gain one of the following noble titles: baron, baroness, dame, earl, lord, marquis, marquise, visbaronet, visbaronetess, viscount, viscountess. Among the many hereditary nobles in Taldor, your title means little and grants you few benefits other than an official writ declaring it a legitimate title in the Empire of Taldor, signed by Prince Stavian III himself.
You become specialized in Knowledge (nobility)

On the other hand, you can summarily give your PC a noble title, so long as it actually is rules-mechanically meaningless.
Whether or not it's recognized as legitimate OOCly is pretty much the same as it should be treated ICly. If you walk the walk(spend money appropriately on signet, clothes, and jewelry.. invest in knowledge/nobility even if it's not a class skill..) and talk the talk (roleplay appropriately), people will tend to assume your claim is legit.
A pseudo-medieval setting like the Inner Sea is going to be lousy with hedge knights and scions of cadet houses. Why shouldn't you roleplay one?

I made a character based on 'sir digby chicken caesar' that effectively "earned" his title playing through merchant's wake. he is actually a trade prince, but the GM wrote on my chronicle that I can use the "sir" prefix instead. it's just reskinning, doesn't actually do anything.
I also have a delusional razmiri "paladin" that calls himself sir tomas krooz, but he's not a knight... or a paladin.

My Taldan Marquise has actually had that title come in handy -- there are some situations where an NPC is written as only dealing with nobility.
This might be the best thread to ask another question which just came up for me -- I recently had a character acquire a semi-noble status by marrying into the Blakros family. Is there a crest or other heraldry that have been defined for them?

I accidentally started calling my PC Commander instead of title Captain from Andoran. Sounds cooler so I just stuck with it. You can call your pc literally whatever you want so long as it doesn't affect things mechanically or its offensive to others.
Heh. I have one PC who has the title Captain multiple ways.
Ship captain, has the ship vanity
Venture captain, played through Eyes of the Ten
Eagle Knight Captain, from the Andoran vanities
Captain (cubed?) Kinevon, 15th level (right this moment) Fighter (Polearm Master)

My second Razata (redo of the first character, but with actual bookkeeping) is Captain Razata of the pirate ship (the vanity says you get to pick what your ship does, I went with piracy) Flammenwerfer.
An Ifrit running a red ship with the sun and crossed scimitars on the main sail pirating for Sarenrae, lol.
Thanks to a Vigilante level, I had thought about including the ship on the dual identity thing.
