Multi-sheet module PFS reporting still broken

Liberty's Edge

The latest update (which fixed the "can't report games if players haven't registered" issue) still has a problem with mutli-sheet modules, for instance, "The Dragon's Demand".

Before CORE went live, I am told that if you selected that module as part of your event, when went to report a session there would be three different things in the dropdown, allowing you to report all three "sessions" that go with the three chronicle sheets. (My understanding was that the fourth chronicle sheet was never reportable.)

Now, however, it only shows up as a single module, much like the older 32-page modules.

This is a bug that came in with the Core changes that still seems to be present.

Yep, I'm still holding some reporting sheets for mods that I can't report due to this issue. Dragons Demand and Wardens of the Reborn Forge both played several weeks ago, but I can't report them.

So should I not report my Dragon's Demand game until this is fixed?

Software Developer

1 person marked this as a favorite.

This is currently fixed internally and planned to be rolled out with the next release.

Liberty's Edge

Add Thornkeep to that list as well.

Also, 6-10 The Wounded Wisp - doesn't report as evergreen

Development Manager

All scenarios that have reportable sessions will be managed by the changes in the upcoming release.

Silver Crusade

Is there a timeframe for the next release? As a related question, Wardens of the Reborn (a multi-part module) Forge has been sanctioned for some time but is absent from the reporting system, will it get added in with the next release? Thanks for all your work, guys.

Software Developer

The new release is coming soon, but we don't have a specific date. I'll try to make sure and go through every thread that it's relevant to and post that the release has been rolled.

With regards to Wardens of the Reborn, that should also be added this release. If you have any issues please let us know.

Silver Crusade

Awesome, thanks for the response!

Liberty's Edge

Are there any news on this yet? I tried yesterday to report part 2 of Thornkeep and can still only choose Sanctum of lost ages and it says the players have played it because part 1 got changed to this also.

Technology Manager

You should be able to report it now, but Thornkeep part two has to be added to the event you are reporting for. It only shows up in the session drop down if it's been added to the event.

Silver Crusade

My last Emerald Spire session is being confused with the Card Game.

Silver Crusade

Turns out it is 'Core' not 'Card', don't know what that means.

We have two methods of PFS RPG play:

PFS - The version you are used to that encompasses a wide range of Pathfinder material.

Core - A new organized play program that is limited to the core rulebooks.

When you add a scenario to your event, you must select the Core or PFS version. PFS characters cannot be reported in a Core scenario and Core characters reported in a PFS scenario will be converted to PFS and can no longer play in Core scenarios.

Thx, Cort

Silver Crusade

OK, Emerald Spire is still not corrected.

Technology Manager

It's being listed as a CORE scenario instead of a PFS scenario? You'll need to have whomever reported it add the PFS version to your event and update the session to be associated with that version, not the CORE version.

Silver Crusade

The CORE issue is separate.
What has happened here is all levels are reported as level 1, and are marked as -already played-

Technology Manager

Jokem, what is the event ID for the event where you're seeing this behavior? Were the other levels for Emerald Spire added to that event and those levels selected when the session was reported? If that is the case (I'll verify when I have the event) and they are for some reason converting to level 1, then yeah, that's would be a bug.

Silver Crusade

Cort -
26778 for level 2 thru 6
57153 for the level 7 where I checked the wrong box on the signup

Technology Manager

Jokem, I've looked at event 26778 and it only has Emerald Spire Super Dungeon level 1 added to the event, so that's the only level anyone reporting could select (and apparently that's the one they did select). Nothing is being reverted.

I've added levels 2-6 to the event, but I can't update the individual sessions because I don't know which are which. Whoever is the reporter for that event needs to go into the sessions which are currently listed as level 1 and select the correct scenario from the drop down (which will show levels 2-6 now that I've added them).

Silver Crusade

Cort - The sessions were played in order, so I presume they can be corrected in that fashion.

For level 7 the character was not a Core Character, so can someone fix that?

Technology Manager

I've corrected all five of the Emerald Spire levels, please remember to add the scenario to your event and select the correct one from the drop down when reporting future games.

If you have a character who is RPG attempting to play in a Core game, that's not going to work. If they were a Core character that got somehow turned into an RPG character (main cause is a GM incorrectly reporting a session as RPG instead of Core) then have them contact customer service to have the characters reverted. They will need to include their character number, PFSID and the event ID/session they believe the accidental conversion happened (if they know it), then the character will be investigated and reverted if appropriate.

Silver Crusade

I don't think Emerald Spire is a CORE campaign, so the mistake is that I marked the CORE box in the sign up, right?

And thanks for the correction.
