Oradin Question

Horizon Hunters

Okay, so I have read through the Oradin Guide. And I am building the character outlined in this post. My question is for the guide though. In the equipment section, he marks a couple of items as "FREE UNLIMITED ALL DAY HEALING FOR EVERYONE EVER". How exactly do these items work? From what I can tell, they give you Fast Healing 1, which is not enough to make up for the HP lost due to Life Link. I don't understand how either of these items can give "unlimited all day healing for everyone". Any explanation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :D

This isn't a PFS question, so flagged so it can be moved to the proper section.

That said, it gives Fast Healing 1 until you move, with no per day limit on how often you can activate them. So you heal people with Life Link, and just wait until you're at full health before moving on.

I'll flag this for the other General Discussion forum, but respond as well.

Normally, after combat, everyone breaks out their wands of CLW and heals up.

But, so long as a Life Oracle has fast healing and Life Link, those wands are no longer needed.

The Oracle links you, taking 5 damage per round, and healing (at least) 1 damage per round to themself. Eventually, X number of rounds later, the Oracle will be at full health, and the Life Linked target will have only 4 or less damage on them.

My Oracle currently has fast healing 6, so basically he only needs a number of rounds equal to your damage divided by 5 to heal you to virtually full.

My apologies, figured since it concerned my PFS character and how I built him it would go in here.

So, that makes sense. I was thinking that all of this was going to be happening in combat. Thanks for the replies.

Scarab Sages

Also, the boots do not have a restriction that they only heal damage that occurs while wearing them. You can let someone else wear the shoes, stand for a minute or two and heal up to full.

Silver Crusade

There are 14400 rounds in a day. So, there is, in fact, a limit to the amount of healing from a ring of regeneration or boots of the earth. The author of the guide is using a little bit of hyperbole there, as fourteen thousand hit points is a Huge amount.
