help me craft a magic item

Advice

Hi guys. I need help mixing a glove of dtoring and a +1 gauntlet. Im not sure how much does this cost or how should i consider the pricing. Since one is a weapon enhancement and the other a wonderous item. Any advice will be appreciated

A glove of storing costs 10000 GP (Price), or 5000 GP (Cost to Craft)

A +1 gauntlet, as a weapon, has a cost of at least 2350 GP (Price), but this could increase to 2352 GP if your armor doesn't naturally come with a gauntlet (2000 for +1, 350 for masterwork weapon, 2 for standalone gauntlet)... lets ignore the standalone gauntlet possibility.

Because the weapon/armor slots are handled separately from the glove slot, there is no need to actually craft them together into a single item -- though, flavor wise, they can... so long as you don't try sticking another thing in the glove slot.

If, on the other hand, you're trying to free up the glove slot, then you can craft the glove of storing into a 'slotless' item, which doubles its price/cost.

In summary:

For a +1 gauntlet of storing that uses takes up the glove slot and that can be used as a weapon: 12350 GP (Price) / 6175 (Cost to Craft)

For a +1 gauntlet of storing that does not take up the glove slot, and can be used as a weapon: 22350 GP (Price) / 11175 (Cost to Craft)

Is there some reason you want to use a weaponised gauntlet specifically?

If you're trying to avoid taking Improved Unarmed Strike I can tell you that taking the feat, in this case, is worth a LOT more than the glove.

With just the Gauntlet, you pay the above-cited 12,350-2gp PER GAUNTLET any attacks made with your other Unarmed attack or a weapon don't get the +1.

With IUS, you pay 10,000gp for your Glove of Storing, 2000gp for an Amulet of Mighty Fists +1, and ALL your Unarmed and Natural attacks get +1.

While I am also curious as to why a gauntlet is desired, it should be mentioned that the Amulet of Mighty Fists +1 costs 4000 GP, not 2000 GP. So you would be paying 1650 GP for +1 attack (still, actually not a bad deal)

Note, the Core Rule Book and Ultimate Equipment prices differ. The cheaper pair in the Core Rule Book is correct as per the FAQ posted under the Core Rule Book section. FAQ Link.

I'll explain. I'm playing kingmaker and I am the general and twin brother of the king. We gave our characters a targeryenish style. We are both dragon disciples the king a chsrismatic sorc/dd and the general a sorc/ ranger/dd. So, this being said i play with a bardiche taking advantage of reach, mist spells and blindsight. My only problem is carrying a big axeish weapon around. Specially when is convenient to switch to natural attacks.
The gauntlet comes into play for rp reasons mostly. I made a red "dragonclaw" spiked gauntlet the symbol of my authority and the banner of the realm.

Right; forgot to multiply by 2.

I still kinda think that AOF should probably be down to normal weapon bonuses, since you only get at most a +5 effective bonus, and it still takes up an Amulet slot.

But, meh.

Also note that technically, as weapons, +1 spiked gauntlets do not occupy the hands slot for magic items. You could just wear the glove of storing on one hand and a +1 spiked gauntlet on the other; or even wear the glove of storing under a +1 spiked gauntlet (either alone or as a pair). Unless the character has Two-Weapon Fighting, they shouldn't be attacking with a pair of spiked gauntlets, anyway (as they follow the rules for weapons instead of natural attacks).

If you're planning on using the claws you get from DD, the spiked gauntlet is just going to get in the way. Mechanically, what you want is the Amulet of Mighty Fists +1, and a separate glove of storing. No need to grab the improved unarmed strike feat, as you're not punching (you would be using natural weapons).

As a GM, I'd see no problem with flavoring the glove to look like a red gauntlet, with the fingernail slots open just enough for your claws to *schink* out .

This has the added benefit of applying to both claws for 14000 GP total (10000 GP glove in a single hand-- taking the entire glove slot, though a non magical gauntlet can apply to your other hand-- and the amulet costs 4000 GP. If you're against losing the amulet slot, let us know, as there may be a different method of achieving what you originally planned in that slot)
