crossclassing a ranger and a alchemist

Advice

I want to cross the two classes, any ideas on how to do it?

Do you mean homebrewing a hybrid class or making a multiclass character with the actual classes?

out of actual classes. I am thinking of just doing alchemist who uses a bow and taking times bombs and before combat tying to bombs to the arrows. any other ideas

The alchemist can already do anything he could do with the ranger. The difference would be eventually getting some divine spells, an animal companion, feats and favored enemy. But the Alchemist gets a discovery to shoot bombs with his arrows. Also the more you take of 1 the less you'll have of the other. lv6 a ranger has his 2nd bonus feat. But then at lv6 you'll have no alchemist levels.
Both classes can do anything well if you spec for it. Ranged, Melee, control, skills, etc.

ok good thats what i wantg to do
