How would you balance?

Advice

One of my player wants to play Feral Hunter and Primal Companion Hunter at the same time.

Primal Surge would work on the player instead off the animal companion and have a duration = 1m/lv.

Primal Transformation would only work on the player and be permanent because he doesn't have a animal companion.

I'm thinking of lowering the amount of evolution points he get to 50%.

How would you balance?

it probably wouldn't be over the top as is. Hunter is very focused about his PET, so losing the pet you'll probably be weaker than if you had the pet. So full evolution wouldn't be over the top I feel. maybe limit his evos by what focus he had.

for starters it is up to you to allow it. by RAW it isn't permited.

secondly, even cut by half, it seems rather powerful. maybe restrict it in duration or something?

I think I might limit what evolutionist you can pick, Something like the Wild Caller.

And limit the total number of attacks to the number on Eidolon table. Don't think that it would remove attacks from forms that have more attacks then the table. but you cant get any more.

Time limit. Should it be 1h/level or 10M/level. and Should it be a standard action to activate. And should Primal Surge last 1m/level or 1r/level?

Tank for your feed back

I think I will try with no time limit. And make you able to chose 1+1/4 lv of extra evolutions. So at level 4 you will have 6 evolutions to chose between ratter then 4. So if you transform into a animal with one or more of your evolotions you can change it.

I think it will be 1 Summoner 1/lv the first 3 levels. and after that 1/2 Summoner level. so you get more Evolutions before you get wild-shape.
