Help me make a low lvl guile hero

Advice

So i am attempting a guile hero, kinda like like a lot of ronin-like caracter we see in anime
I wanted something that could work in a not too hight level game and not be too useless

I chose the aldori sword because in my mind I picture it like a kind of katana. (curved, onesided blade)
I didn't want a scimitar and dervish dancer, rp wise I didn't see the char using it.

I did a basis for the character with no race in mind. I wanted to know:

Do you think this char can be viable?
What race would you take? If traits, wich one?
How would you improve it?
What would you do after level 5? (I was thinking duelist, maybe)

base stats with a 20 points buy, 5 level, no race chosen:

10 16 12 14 14 8

1 figther(lore warden) 1: finesse, Exotic weapon proficiency, saves: 2,0,0
2 fighter(lore warden) 2: weapon focus, combat expertise, saves 3,0,0
3 Monk(Maneuver master) 1: dazzling display, improved dirty trick, ac bonus(2), improved unarmed strike, saves 5,2,2
4 Monk(Maneuver master) 2: Improved trip, evasion, saves 6,3,3
5 Swordlord 1: agile maneuver, saves 7,3,4

attack: 4 + 3(finesse) + 1(focus)
damage: 1d8+3
Maneuver(with weapon): 4+3(finesse)+2(improved)+1(focus)

ac(no armor): 3(dex)+2(wis)+2(duel mastery) = 17
ac(light armor): 3(dex)+4(chain shirt)+2(duel mastery) = 19

fortitude: 7+1= 8
reflex: 3+3= 6
will: 4+2= 6

skills:
1 acrobatic,knowledge(noble),sense motive,intimidate,perform, + 1 intel skill
2 acrobatic,knowledge(noble),sense motive,intimidate,perform, + 1 intel skill
3 acrobatic,knowledge(noble),sense motive,intimidate, + 2 any skill
4 intimidate + 5 any skill
5 4 any skill

So, compared to a straight strenght fighter I lose a lot of damage (no 1.5 multiplier, no power attack) and a bit of attack.
In exchange I get a free maneuver (at -2) when I attack, a bit more skills, more saves and a bit more mobility
Agile maneuver im not sure I need, if I use my weapon to do dirty trick and trip it should only need finesse, but im not sure if they stack.
I would probably take dodge instead if I didn't need it.

When you said Guile hero you meant a Dex-based attack instead of Str-based? In my mind, guile means using Charisma and manipulation... and your guy has a disastrous Charisma score... so I'm guessing you meant Dex-based.

You can save yourself a feat by going Half-Elf (take the Ancestral Arms racial) for quick Aldori Dueling Sword proficiency.

A good feat to take for Half-Elves, if you plan to multiclass a ton, is the Multitalented Mastery feat for extra Favored Class Bonus.

If you, instead, want to get to Swordlord the fastest you can so you can use your character in this low level campaign, I recommend taking one level of Cavalier, following the Order of the Cockatrice. This grants you Dazzling Display as a bonus feat at 2nd level. You'll probably be good to switch over to Swordlord at level 3ish (using Favored Class bonuses to pump Intimidate to 5 ranks), but I'd wait until level 4 so you can take the Horse Master trait to make your mount scale with your character level instead of your cavalier level.

You can go with either the Gendarme archetype or the Emmissary archetype if you do this, though I recommend Emmissary so you can fight well on and off the saddle.
You can further combine this with the Honor Guard archetype - kind of like a yojimbo! -, so you'd suck a bit more in the saddle due to not having Cavalier's Charge, but then again, it can let you take full advantange of your sky high AC to protect other teammembers.

Here's a statblock using the Elven Curved Blade in place of the Dueling Sword because my character planner doesn't have the latter.

At that point, you are ready to switch into the Swordlord next level up.

What next? Get Combat Reflexes to make full use of your increasingly ridiculous Dex levels, go for Shatter Defenses and Deadly Stroke, master a combat maneuver, get Combat Expertise to make the most of the Swordlord's features, get Antagonize to draw aggro, get Horse Master to have a mount that levels with your Swordlord levels...

What you would do with this character:

- High AC combined with Medium Armor and Swordlord AC bonus lets you be a frontline duelist that can dodge most attacks.

- Good mobility with Medium Armor thanks to Emmissary and a high Acrobatics check (getting to level 5 with Cavalier gets you free Mobility for you and your mount).

- Able to coax enemies to attack you by voluntarily taking AC penalties to Challenge or to protect your ward (thanks to Honor Guard).

- Really good team utility thanks to Honor Guard + Helpful trait + Combat Reflexes + High Dexterity... Reflexes gives you a ton of Attacks of Opportunity thanks to your high Dex, and Honor Guard allows you to transform that AoO into an Aid Another action to give +5 AC to an ally, which can increase to +6 if adjacent.

- Awesome Intimidate ability bonus. Remember that Order of the Cockatrice gives you an extra +2 damage against demoralzied enemies, so that will help you out during the early game. This damage piles up once you get iterative attacks and if you manage to set the enemy up for Attacks of Opportunity.

- Cool mount.

- And the best... AWESOME FLAVOR. You are a bodyguard knight that is bound to look for the biggest profit, with unmatched dueling skill and a silver tongue.

Thank you for the quick reply, I must admit it seem like a fairly fun build full of flavor. I'm sorry if i didn't use the good definition for guile, I meant a cunning and dexterous hero. (dirty trick, lore master in the original build)

I must sadly correct something, I dont think it is possible to get swordlord before lvl 5-6(depending on how you read the rules) because you cannot have more rank in a skill than you have hitdice.

Other than that your build seems good and mechanicly sound(the yojimbo idea is fairly cool). However, i fear it might be a little feat starved. I dont think going for combat maneuver would realy be a usefull idea past that level, I realy liked the idea of doing dirty tricks and trip at low level.

The half elf idea is good of course, i had not thought about the multitalented mastery.
