Blood God Disciple + Synthesist = Raging Synthesist?

Rules Questions

Does this work?

1. I dismiss my eidolon as a standard action.

Eidolon:
The eidolon remains until dismissed by the summoner (a standard action).

2. Avatar Gambit allows me to rage.
Avatar Gambit:
Avatar Gambit (Ex): At 7th level, when a blood god disciple dismisses his eidolon, he rages like a barbarian for a number of rounds equal to half his summoner level (he may end this rage early just like a barbarian, but if he does so, any remaining rounds of rage from this ability are lost). This replaces the summon monster IV spell-like ability.

2. I then use Moment of Clarity (at level 11 BGD gets a Rage Power) as a swift action.
Moment of Clarity:
Moment of Clarity (Ex): The barbarian does not gain any benefits or take any of the penalties from rage for 1 round. Activating this power is a swift action. This includes the penalty to Armor Class and the restriction on what actions can be performed. This round still counts against her total number of rounds of rage per day. This power can only be used once per rage.

3. Next round I cast Summon Eidolon as a swift action using Quicken Spell (and Magical Lineage so I can do this with a 5th level slot).
Summon Eidolon:

Summon Eidolon
School conjuration (summoning); Level summoner 2
Casting Time 1 round
Components V, S, M (a silver coin)
Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)
Target one eidolon
Duration 1 minute/level (D)
Saving Throw none; Spell Resistance no

You open a rift between dimensions that summons your eidolon. Treat this as if you had summoned your eidolon normally, except that it only remains with you for the duration of this spell. While summoned in this way, your eidolon cannot touch any creature warded by protection from evil or a similar effect and your eidolon can be sent back to its home plane by dispel magic.

If you cast this spell while your eidolon is already on your plane, this spell has no effect. This spell allows you to summon your eidolon even if it has been returned to its home plane due to damage.

4. I am now a raging synthesist.

Thanks in advance for replies.

No. Just because you rage doesn't mean you gain access to rage powers. That's a different function of the barbarian class.

im pretty sure the summon eidolon spell no longer works for synthesist as your not really summoning a creature but a suit of armour.

edit he gets rage powers at lvl 11. the trick might work for a normal blood goddisciple. just not a synthesist,

I don't see why summon eidolon wouldn't work for the synthesist. It's still a creature. It's just a creature that fuses with you upon its summon. The summon ritual isn't modified in any way in the synthesist archetype that would preclude the spell from working.

As stated, Blood God Disciple gets rage powers (one at 11 and another at 15).

As far as I can see, Synthesist and Blood God Disciple stacks just fine.

A small correction, Houngan: You are not going to use a Quickened Summon Eidolon. Instead you use Moment of Clarity (swift action) and cast Summon Eidolon (standard action) in the same round.

Ah. Well, yeah that works. If you're leveling organically though, having to wait 4 levels before you get that rage power is going to be painful. You won't be able to dump physical stats which means most synthesist build guides won't work for you either. Nifty trick, though!

but it's you there get str and con not your Eidolon and will you get Evolutions for eating monsters

I think you'd be raging inside your eidolon, but it wouldn't get the benefits.
