So, we've got our mitts on the awesome red dragon evolution set, and we know we've got the special Reign/Winter two pack of huge minis coming up.....
But... what will be the next special, evolution, or builders series after that?
Anyone have any insider dirt or tempting tidbits they're willing to share (feel free to comment, Erik)? Inquiring minds want to know!
Please, please, please tell me the builder series isn't dead. The numbers may not look great on their own, but don't overlook the power of having a low-priced, impulse product to serve as a "gateway" drug.
Orcs would be my choice for a builder set. I feel you can never have too many Orc minis.
We Be Goblins definitely served as my gateway. I got a display box for my birthday and as soon as I had opened and sorted those awesome Goblin minis I knew I had to have the rest of this line.
Orcs would be great, and probably a strong candidate for the next release. They may even have close to enough sculpts (maybe someone who knows the case releases by heart can easily say).
Though not technically characters, I would also love to see a release of dungeon dressing stuff -- doors, chests, altars, tables, etc. Kind of like they did for MageKnight back in the day, but with blind packaging.
Builder Set Ideas:
Animal Comapanions
A Summon Monster set, with popular options taken from various levels of the spell, all small/medium of course.
Or simply pick a country in Golarion such as Cheliax and make a builder set around that.
For Builder sets as of right now to get them started -
Orcs - 5 Sculpts
Kobolds - 6 Sculpts
Serpentfolk - 3 Sculpts (Long shot, but hey, I can dream)
And if they were to do A builder with Large Sculpts -
Ogres - 4 Sculpts (plus the Ogrekin)
Trolls - 6 Sculpts (across 3 sub-specie)
Needed as a builder but there are insufficient sculpts -
Lizardfolk - 1 sculpt (2 if you count the Troglodyte)
Bugbears - 2 Sculpts
Hobgoblins - 0 Sculpts!!
For the next Evolutions set -
Black Dragon Evolution - They have a Medium and a Huge already;
4 (5) Elemental Sets - They already have a Medium and a Large of each of the 4 classic Elementals and a Small Ice Elemental, doing these as an Evolution Set of 4 (Small, Medium, Large, and Huge) would be sweet (as well as versatile).
I like the idea of an Elemental Evolutions set a lot, though I also considered an Elemental Builders series.
It could include small and medium elementals of each type plus a spell-caster specifically themed to each element. Smalls could be common with 3 to a display case, mediums uncommon with 2 to a display case and casters rare with 1 to a display case.

0 Gnolls
An Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, or Halfling set would be great to give a variety of molds for heroes, NPCs, and Villains.
There really are very few PC useable demi-humans for character minis. Not everyone wants to use an iconic Lem to represent their Gnome Paladin ;-)
