Four Part Scenario By A Pregen

Ok, I've got an issue. Had a new player join a few months back and he decided to play in a 7-11 scenario. It was a 4 part scenario. He played all 4 of them but I informed him that he could only apply 3 of them to one PC and the 4th one to another PC, since the PreGen was a lvl. 7.

Now, the question is would it be legal for him to apply all 4 scenarios to his single PC? I like the player and I'd like him to get the boon for his PC, who has now reached level 7, 3 months later. However I'd like to know the legality of this and whether this rule can be bent a little.

There is no reason he can not have all 4 on one character. You apply the chronicles when they reach the correct level in the order you played them.

Page 6 of the guide.
"If you play a non-1st-level pregenerated character, you apply the credit to your character as soon as she reaches the level of the pregenerated character played. You may not apply a Chronicle sheet earned with a pregenerated character to a character that was already at the level of the pregenerated character or higher, as you should have used this character
for the scenario instead. The one exception is if you have multiple Chronicle sheets from pregenerated characters, they are applied to your character’s Chronicle sheet stack all at once when your character reaches
the appropriate level, even if this would advance your character several levels."

Awesome. Thank You Very Much. So, he can go from 6 to 8 and 1/3rd, I'll let him know tomorrow.

He also could have applied the first three to a new character, and held the 4th for 7th level.

I was under the impression that you couldn't apply more than one chronicle you gained from a pregen to a new character scaling it down to first level. I know my wording might be confusing, but I thought that when you play a pregen, you can only apply it to a new first level character (except when you keep it to apply at a higher level). Once it is applied, the character is no longer new.

Am I wrong?

They removed the "new" requirement in the latest guide.

What Jeff said: now it simply has to be a 1st level character.

And honestly, that's how we had been running it for a while. There really isn't much if any difference between applying a 500gp chronicle to a brand-new character, or applying two or three of them. I think the idea was to encourage new players to make that new character and not hold off. But many many gamedays are 2-3 time slots, with no time in-between to make a new character, plus apply a chronicle to it.

That was our case. He was playing the Tuesday games at the high table where we were running a 5-9 or 7-11 arc and on Thursdays he was working his PC up the levels to get him to lvl. 7. But if he can apply all 4 at lvl. 7, then he can be lvl. 8 1/3, instead of just 8 and can get the full boon for doing all 4.

The guy has a regular PC and he was leveling him as fast as he could, he just hadn't reached the point where he could play his PC at that point in a high tier scenario.
