Hi everyone
I was wondering if there are rules that allow a dragon to pick up an opponent, fly with them and then drop them.
I assume grapple would work but that would require it to stop moving for a turn to make the initial grapple check.
My other question is whether a dragon performing a bull rush must then make a fly check for the impact whilst flying. I would have thought no because it was an intentional maneuver?
Thanks for your help

I think in 3.5 there was a rule that if you were two sizes bigger than your target you didn't gain the grappled condition. I have no idea if that was brought over or not. A creature can move at half speed while "dragging" a target and a dragons half speed is still probably 60+ feet since they are quite fast. Give the dragon the snatch and flyby attack feats and then you might be better off.

The Snatch and Flyby Attack feats.
Flyby Attack lets you move, attack, and move (total movement must be 1 move action).
Snatch gives you the Grab special ability. If the opponent is 3 sizes smaller you can then drop as a free action.
Grab lets you take a -20 to not be considered grappled yourself and start a grapple on a successful melee attack.
So you a) start Flyby attack by moving, b) make a bite/claw attack, c) make free grapple check with no AoO at -20, d)you are not considered grappled so you complete your move due to Flyby Attack, e) drop your opponent as per Snatch.
