Acrobatics Question

Rules Questions

The Core lists the DC for walking across narrow surfaces at HALF speed. If I have a sturdy but narrow (2 foot wide) path over lava the DC at half speed is 5. Fair enough.

What will the DC be if the character wants to move at full speed. Or even a double move?

Thanks!

I believe it is -10 for full speed and then -20 for a double move.

I don't think so. I believe this only comes into effect if they they are running, not double move.

The Acrobatics skill says:

"1–3 feet wide: 5 (DC for moving half speed)"

And

"Move at full speed on narrow or uneven surfaces: +5 DC"

And

"A successful check allows you to move at half speed across such surfaces—only one check is needed per round."

That should sum it up. A 2 foot wide surface is DC 5 at half speed or DC 10 at normal speed. You can single move (half or full speed) or double move (half or full speed) - either way, you make one check at those DCs (5 or 10).
