Hi
Im some what new to pathfinder manly convert APs to 3.5.
I've wanted to see one of my favorite class turned in to a Pathfinder class. looking for help if you could post a lvl ten that would be really cool. I know a lot of people will same they don't like it but my fave will die hard for me. The reason for this is also to see if i can get a DM for pathfinder to bit and let me play it. ; )

Thank you Bellona but not what i had in mind this is help converting a Prestige class from 3.5 to a Pathfinder ok class.

Ill start add the class Spc. This is text for the 3.5 book sitting in my lap.

Hit dice: D4
Requirements:
1. Any nongood
2. Knowledge (Religion) 8 ranks
3. Skill Focus (Knowledge [religion]).
4 Able to cast command undead and vampiric touch as arcane spells.
5.The candidate must have spent three or more days locked in a tomb with animate undead. This contact may be peaceful or violent. A character who is slain by the undead and later raised still meets the requirement, although the resulting lvl loss may delay compliance with outher pererequisites.

Now for the text of the last of my two post, sorry I'm a noob at the format so this will be long.

weapon and Armor:
Pale masters gain proficiency with light and medium armor.
They gain no proficiency with any weapons or shields.

Spells per day/spells known:
Beginning at 2nd lvl, a pale mastergains new spells per day (and spells known,if applicable) as if he had also gained a lvl in an arcane spellcasting class to which he belonged to before adding the prestige class lvl. He does not, however gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained (improved chchance of turning or destroying undead, metamagic or item creation feats, and so on). If he had more than one arcane spellcasting class before becoming a pale master, he must decide to wiich class to add each lvl for the purpose of determining spells per day and spells known.

Animate Dead (SP): starting at 2nd lvl, a pale master begins to exercise control over the undead. Once per day, he can use animate dead, as the spell, without need of a material component.
Use the pale master's highest arcane caster lvl as the caster lvl for this effect. All other lvl restrictions of animate dead still apply. For examle, a 6th-lvl sorcerer/3rd-lvl pale master can animate up to 16hd of undead with a single use of this ability. likewise, he can control up to 32HD of undead created using this ability, the animate dead spell,or both.

Darkvision (ex): at 3rd lvl, the dark begns tp lose its mysteries to a pale master, who gains darkvision out to 60 feet. if he already has darkvision, its effective distance increases by 60 feet.

Undead armor affinity(EX): a pale master has an instinctive feel for undead armor. at 4th lvl and higher, he treats the armor as if its arcane spell failure chance were 10% less. At 8th lvl, this reduction improves to 20%.

Control undead(SP): once per day, a pale master can gain control over an undead creature (with hit dice equal to or less than his highest arcane caster lvl) by making a successful touch attack aginst it. The undead creature receives no saving throw to resist this effect. The control last for 1 round per caster lvl. when the duration expires, the undead creature returns to its former allegiance, if any. the newly controlled undead can still be turned or rebuked as normal.
this effect is otherwise identical to control undead spell. this ability is in addition to the # of undead a pale master can control using his animate dead ability.

Deathless vigor(EX): Beginning at 5th lvl, a pale master body becomes more akin to the undying flesh of his undead associates. the character gains a +4 bonus on fortitude saves except against effects that also work on objects.

Undead graft(SU): is vary long ill say again people should help me here my first post has pg. # on it.


From what I can quickly see, the requirements would now be 5 ranks of knowledge: religion, and the HD would be D6, and the saves would be different.

Pathfinder improved many weak classes in being a bit healthier to live longer, hence the D6. as for the and change from 8 to 5, 3.5 allowed you to put ranks up to +3 more than your actual level, pathfinder removed this and made it a "class bonus" of +3 and your ranks now equal your level.

As for the saves, their is the good saves and the bad ones. Pale masters food save is will, bad is reflex and fort. The saves Would be as follows:

Other than that the other abilities seem fine and capable of being used without effort of changing.

ok for the last of it.

Tough as bone: On reaching 7th lvl a pale master takes on even more qualities of a undead. He becomes immune to disease, nonlethal damage, and stunning.

Undead cohort: as it sounds but only aloud one lvl still based of leader score.

Deathless mastery: gain undead traits, immune to poison,sleep,paralysis, death effects, critical hits,ability drain, energy drain, ability damage.
still needs to breath eat sleep cant not be turned.

ok that's the whole class would like to hear from more then one person on if its ok or not and maybe ideas to make a arc type.

Hmm...the class looks fine with the changes. Everything else is as is, so your done. As for an archetype, this is a prestige class and as of yet there are no archetypes for a prestige class, only a base class.
