Hey all. First time poster.

If a wizard character were to specialize in one of the 7 Thassilonian schools of magic, would they still get the other powers associated with specializing in a school?

For example, a wizard decided to specialize in Wrath (evocation). Besides getting two bonus spell slots per level (and losing access to abjuration and conjuration), would that character still receive Intense Spells, Force Missile and Elemental Wall at the appropriate levels since they are still an evoker?

yes i think so.
The only thing you loose with taking the Tassalonian wizard spez is access to two schools of magic.

Yes, it restricts your opposition schools even more than normal in return for another slot. Thassilonian magic doesn't further effect any other class benefits so you still get you school powers and feats and can still take a focused arcane school if you wish.

I've been playing a thassilonian teleportation focused conjurer for 7 levels now and the extra spell is handy at your highest two levels but not being able to use illusions at all is a pain after getting used to pathfinders specialisations. Evocations not so much.

Thanks for the responses.

I went with Envy myself, and picked up the shadow caster archetype as well. I plan on using the shadow spells to make up for the lack of evocation, and am looking to tenebrous spell and presistent spell to help carry them through the save throws.
