Liberty's Edge

ok, so I made a non-lethal specialist Monk 2 Rogue X. people who play with me say it reminds them of Batman.... this wasn't the intention, but I find it somewhat fitting.

Can you post the build?

Liberty's Edge

sure.
Master of Many Styles Monk of Sacred Mountain
1. Snake Style, W. Finesse, Enforcer
2. Snake Fang, Toughness
Rogue X
3. Combat Reflexes
4. W.Training (Weapon Focus Unarmed Strike)
5. Sap Adept
6. Combat Trick (Dazzling Display <unarmed Strike>)
7. Sap Master
8. Ninja Trick (Combat Trick: Dodge); Offensive Defense
9. Shatter Defenses
10. Style Master: Crane Style
11. Crane Wing
12. Bonus Feat: Crane Riposte

I've been working on a possible Batman-esque character. I'm thinking, Brawler/Urban Ranger/Martial Artist, or possibly just Brawler/UR to keep things more focused. Alternatively, I might stick a Ninja in there somewhere, because, well, Ninja.

definitely gonna want a cloak of the bat.

Goodness, a triple-post, innumerable apologies from me.

it was bothering me, so i started a thing.

An Assorted Collection of Capes ** spoiler omitted **

there are many, many more I'm forgetting (such as kitty, nightcrawler, iceman, all of the villains, etc.) I'm certain.
improvements/better suggestions are welcomed.

Well, foozles; this doesn't quite work without AndIMustMask's Spoiler (and I wouldn't worry too much about the warning; I think if we've gotten this far, we're all cross-genre geeky enough to not freak out). ;->

That being said, the way we're doing Thor in our Council of Thieves campaign (odd, perhaps, but I had a hankering; and we're new to it, so no spoiling! ;->) is:

Female ("Thordis [the actual Norwegian version of the name] Odinsdottir" [yep, her human dad's name was Odin; on Golarion, it's just a bunch of letters in two syllables, but he was a Fighter/Sentinel of Gozreh])

Sorcerer (Stormborn; gotta love Electricity and Sonic damage ;->)

Aasimar (Scion of Humanity; those Chelaxians are soooo bigoted)

First Level Feat: Martial Weapon, Warhammer (why? because! she's got Carpenter as a Profession, so she's got an excuse to lug it around...and, of course, Mage Hand as a Cantrip... ;->)

Stats (Epic build):
STR 15
DEX 13
CON 14
INT 12
WIS 13
CHA 17

Ht: 6'2" Wt: 198 lbs., mostly muscle

Pre-dawn gold blonde hair, braided; sea-color eyes

This might be necessary? Council of Thieves spoiler:

Spoiler:

Thordis' dad was killed by the Shadow threats before the first CoT book starts (and it was strongly DM-suggested that we might want someone with Darkvision in the party); I also have Bruno Leroung, half-elf scion of House Leroung, whose parents were "exiled" to Westcrown for their, ah, inappropriate behavior (our GM has special Campaign Traits for CoT [and lets us play 2 characters if we wish; it's a small group]). He's mostly Monk (Lawful Neutral), with 1 level in Rogue so far, mostly for those wonderful toys--er, class skills. He's not Comics Code approved, so he can kill anyone trying to break into Stately Leroung Manor, and prowls the streets at night in disguise after the curfew to strike fear into the hearts of whatever the threats are that killed his parents in front of him (I'm debating if he has an "alter ego" name; perhaps something like Lightbringer [since I doubt the problem critters would be worried about a "creature of the night"; they may or may not be a superstitious and cowardly lot, but I don't think a flying shrew would scare them...]). ;->

Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I am currently playing a fighter (archer) named Bart Clinton in a Second Darkness game. I said I was going to keep making the Avengers if my characters kept dying until I had moved through the entire roster. So far Hawkeye has proven to be very survivable.

How would you build Captain Andoran out to level 20?
