However you are correct!

How about naked British Prime Ministers?

I've never been so happy to have a link blocked at work.

Somehow Naked Winston Churchill just doesn't do it for me.

What if he's played by Albert Finney? ;)

Naked nakedness?

But they can't wrap around you! Vote LEGS!

Depends on the boobs! Vote BOOB!!

When you clicked on the link, did you have to click on the link again, and again, and again, in a feedback loop?

I like to think I added a little mind-shattering joy to your day.

If my mind were to shatter any further, you'd need an electron microscope to view the pieces.

Which is my preamble to asking aeglos: What have they done to Thomas Schaaf? And when did this impostor replace him?

well, He is the coach of Werder more than ten years now, and he is very much old school, a stout beliver in the good old german school of "if you done good, not yelling at you is praise enough" not what a young player expects today.

and it does not help that he is a typical Friese, notorious for their stubborness and for not speak two words when one could be enough - preferebly a short word

Yes, but Thomas Schaaf, practising tactics! Next they'll tell us he's been saying they need to defend better.

Unreal tournament? It's a great game, I have no idea what they are talking about

I'm asexual and I don't drink or otherwise use alcohol for nonmedicinal purposes. Which I feel like I've said at least once before. So yeah.

Still can't think of a good gaming synonym that works with the alliteration....

This is why we're friends.

Survived French class! It helped that it was sixth grade.

"Madame Scint-"
"Mademoiselle."
"You speak French?"
"That's about all the French I know."
"...then why are you subbing for Madame E?"
"Because they told me to. OKAY, MOVIE DAY!"

And then there were the little notes on the sub plans.

"Please prescreen the DVD as the last five minutes have a nude woman briefly onscreen. Nothing actually shows, but I'd prefer they not see it."

I had to spend ten minutes watching very closely for nekkid to know when to kill the projector to spare the precious innocents' virgin eyes. From something tamer than they see on TV.

And the bell rang before the DVD got to that point in any hour.

"Please make sure the students are speaking in French when they practice their flashcards."

"All right, kiddos, if I understand more than three words out of you, you're doing it wrong."

Agreed. Before our current network existed at work, we had Unreal Tournament loaded on our computers and would play against each other at lunch.

Unfortunately, the UT in this case is Ultrasonic Testing.

Whelp! Looks like I'm Japan bound again. This time I should be leaving the day after Thanksgiving, and staying for about 3 weeks or so.

Incidently, the only good things about a phone conference late in the evening are that I can participate in my comfy clothes and drink a beer.

Sapporo tastes like Bud Lite, but costs $5.00 for a tall can. You'd do better with Asahi, if you're into Japanese beer.

Liberty's Edge

On to day two of waiting for the f@+#ing maintenance man. Our radiator, which they finally turned on, broke two days later and has been venting steam into the apartment. I woke this morning to find clouds in my bedroom and half of my stuff (including all of my paintings and half of my books) soaking wet.

This goes in the file next to the two-month wait for the parking pass, the one-month wait for the laundry key card, and the five-week wait for the garbage disposal that they still haven't fixed. Seriously, f*@& these guys.

I don't think we're drinking the same Sapporo. I only drink the high quality stuff. Sapporo has several different varieties.

I"m just helping you prepare for your stay:

本語ぜんぜん分からないよ。
Nihongo zenzen wakaranai yo.
I don't understand Japanese at all.

ゾンビです。
Zonbi desu.
I am a zombie.

ビールを大好きよ。
Beeru o daisuki yo.
I love beer.

あなたのブレーンは美味しそう!
Anata no bureen wa oishisou!
Your brain looks delicious!

化け物!死ね!
Bakemono! Shineh!
Monster! Die!

These are but a few of the useful phrases you can use on your trip.

Kore wa zombie desu ka?

Sovereign Court

Nan ja, sore wa? Mienai yo!
I don't know what that is. I can't see it!

Ko-So-A-Do

Kore = this (by the speaker)
Sore = that (by the one being spoken to)
Are = that (not particularly near either party in the conversation)
Dore = what

Kok0 = here
Soko = there (by the speaker)
Asoko = over there (not particularly near either party in the conversation)
Doko = where

I like the system. I don't know why, I just think it's cool.

Ah! The "imasen" tacked on was confusing me, but I see now. First off, it's being polite, using "imasu" instead of "iru".

You are, this world not belonging to (polite/formal).

Now I have a new word!

zokushitenai!

The absolutely coolest Japanese word is

Kashikomarimashita.

Certainly.
