Dark Knight Rises was a great movie--not as good as Dark Knight, but that's OK.

Spoiler:
I immediately figured out the identity of one character as soon as the character was introduced, so I wasn't surprised when the reveal happened. I had too much comic book knowledge to avoid spoiling the surprise, though.

Cool.

All the Meet up pic are in the FaWtl subsection,

the westCoast pics are from some reason not in correct order, the pics of us two in front of a door are back at home, Sabine's aunt had decorated our frontdoor with a engagement greeting and had left a present there

Frak. Changed vehicles with my wife today and my car gets hit while she's in the frakkin' grocery store. Of course, the a-hole didn't leave a note. Frak.

:(

Is it really bad or just cosmetic damage?

Great pics aeglos. :)

Curious. If it was you and her car was hit while unattended, would she be as understanding as you are given the situation?

Thank god she wasn't in the car. How bad is the damage

As I recall, Taig is (thankfully) down in NC. I believe that BT is from the Denver area however. Hope he and all his people are safe.

Were good. We're more than an hour south of the Denver sprawl.

Sorry dragon boat, but there's no out doing my black manliness mobile device. It runs on the latest version of android, and makes me look like there's something wrong with my leg every time I put it in my pocket. ;-)

Have fun PMG =)

The store was close enuf so I popped over to check out the damage. Minor, but even that's expensive these days. Corner of the bumper got pushed in and scraped, which pushed up and broke the tail light. Looks like a car from across the lane backed out to fast and too far. I'm picturing someone on a cell phone, rushing to get back to work. If the insurance company doesn't waive/reduce the $1k deductible I'll pop the bumper back out and just replace the tail light.

No surveillance camera, but that would likely be useless anyways. Police won't come out/make a report because it happened on private property. We took a bunch of pics for when the insurance adjuster calls.

My wife doesn't get phased by this stuff, other than the initial few minutes. Then it shifts into being my problem to worry about. The cost, the inconvenience of losing our 2nd car during the repair, etc.

Oh well, it counts as one of those down moments of life.

I read a FB post from a friend who has a friend affected by the tragedy in Denver. :(

It's over 70 people that got shot. Still 12 dead. The gunman's apartment is full of booby traps.

Nods head in agreement. It has to be either a really special movie or special plans with close friends to get me to an opening weekend movie. Heck even movies that have been out awhile get seen as early in the day as possible, so as to avoid crowds.

Sovereign Court

I hope you hear from them and everything's fine soon.

My friends in Colorado are visiting Houston and were at the theater watching Batman with me last night, thankfully.

Ok, so you're not a complete Luddite. Good to know!

One of the benefits of my digital camera is it is easier to switch between sepia tones and black and white whitout having to waste an entire roll of film.

I was blind-sided by it. Here's to the script writer and Christopher Nolan for a truly superior film.

I'm staying out of Colorado, especially in light of their failing school systems.

You can believe it!

From 50 Shades of Mouthwash:

"He laughed as he pulled on his surgical gloves. 'It will sting, oh yes, it will sting. But there will be no marks, nothing to see. Your husband will not have a clue.' He leant forward and gently pulled her lower lip forward. Suddenly – the pain, the tingling pain! But at least she knew that the effect of the Bonjela mouth ointment would soon wear off …"

Speak for yourself. Half the photos I'm in, I either have a drink in my hand or I'm throwing horns ... or both.

That'll leave an impression on a potential employer.

Hopefully a cool employer.
