It seems no one has started this thread yet; so here we go ...

First of all I have to say, tremendous job to everyone who worked on this book. It looks great and has a lot of very cool critters in it, and it's huge!

The Draconal's spells are listed above his SLAs, which is the reverse of the normal stat block order

Additionally, he does not have a 1st or 5th level domain spell listed

I *think* it may depend on how he gained the SLAs and spells.... SKR talked about this at one point

I would like to see that discussion, since every guideline on how to put together a monster stat block, including the one from Superstar 2010 listed SLAs above Spells.

The Paracletus Aeon and the Silvanshee Agathion state that spellcasters "who meet the proper prerequisites" and have the Improved Familiar feat may take them as Familiars. The proper prerequisits are not specified in these entries. The other similar entries specify alignment and 7th level, so those are presumably the "proper prerequisites", although in the case of the Neutral Aeon, alignment may not be one.

The Cassian Angel has the same issue.

I don't believe PF minis come in boxes or bags? AFAIK they come as singles only, but I confess I haven't looked into it myself.

Anyway, here's the product section for most of the PF Minis: LINK

You might also look into Pathfinder Paper Minis. They're downloadable .pdfs, usually with about 10 minis in each, that you print out and assemble yourself. That might be closer to what you're looking for: LINK

Agathion, Draconal seems to be missing the Strong Feminine aspect (most likely blue, but no idea the domains and breath weapon*)

Based on the red draconal I'd say cold and Community, Darkness and Magic. (Metal is covered under the white, I'm thinking Yin/Yang balance here).

Angel, Cassisian's p. 26 I can't see how Diplomacy can be +2.
Outsider can have 4 extra skills as class skills but class skill bonus is +3 and you have to take a rank to use the bonus.
All other skill points are used.

Skills Points: Outsider 6 + Int (Int = 6 (-2)) 2 * ( 6 -2) = 8 points

Diplomacy +2 = +0 ranks, +0 Cha

Sometimes AC Mods are shown like so "(+3 Dex, +11 natural; +4 deflection

It should be standard.

I'd personally prefer the semicolon way.

All creatures/species with a move speed have fly as a class skill automatically (in addition to the +8 racial bonus to it) if I remember correctly.

So, if the fly is +25, it's probably +10 ranks, +8 bonus, +4 dex, and +3 class skill.

Aha. mdt is correct. That rule's listed under the fly skill (which is why I couldn't find it before).

Aha. mdt is correct. That rule's listed under the fly skill (which is why I couldn't find it before).

I do wish they'd combine those into a 'Universal Movement Rules' bit.

Movement & Skills : Monsters with a movement speed that have associated skills (Flight, Climb & Swim) are automatically considered to have that skill as a class skill, and receive a +8 racial bonus to their checks with the associated skill.

Sense Motive +4 = +1 ranks, +0 Wis, +3 class skill
Stealth +8 = +1 ranks, +0 Dex, +3 class skill, +4 extra mods

8 points total is correct:

That gives:
Diplomacy +2 [2ranks+0Cha]
Fly +10 [0ranks+8maneuverability+2size+0dex] (don't get class bonus unless you take ranks)
Knowledge (planes) +2 = [1rank+3class-2int]
Knowledge (religion) +2 = [1rank+3class-2int]
Perception +5 = [2ranks+3class+0wis]
Sense Motive +4 = [1rank+3class+0wis]
Stealth +8 = [1rank+3class+0dex+4size]

The only error they made was likely forgetting to add in size modifier to fly skill. Diplomacy is correct.

Actually creatures with a fly skill get a bonus based on maneuverability, not a flat +8.

As previously noted, survival is a class skill because fly is a free class skill to creatures with fly speed. The stat block is correct.

Climb +9 = +0 ranks, +1 Str, +8 racial mod due to climb speed
Stealth +10 = +1 rank, +2 Dex, +3 class skill, +4 racial/size

however, the size modifier is incorrect for the monster's size or racial modifier is not listed, so that does need to be fixed.

Actually it's, Fly +7 [9ranks+1Dex+3class+4good-2size-6armor-2shield]...

and Stealth +1 = [9ranks+1Dex+3class-4size-6armor-2shield]

Looks like they have him treat the tower shield as a large shield for purposes of armor check penalty, which makes sense with the fact that he doesn't take a -2 to attack either (but should probably be explicitly stated!).

so with adjustments for armor check penalty, he has 9 ranks in 8 skills, or 72 points spent. Stat block is correct.
