Congrats, Mr. Nelson!

Legacy of Fire

The Exchange

I read most of EoE today, and found it hard to believe that this is Nelson's first serious published material. the module is solid, interesting an cool. The cat Spooky is maybe the most awesome familiar ever.
And, of curse, dagger throwing water chicks are always welcome in my game :)
So congregations, Jason Nelson, and god speed in your future endeavors.
BTW, does anybody know if more superstars will be writing PF adventures?

Jason's actually had a few adventures published in Dungeon, and has worked on several other Paizo projects for us as well (such as the hardcover PCCS and the Osirion Companion).

Rob's gonna be writing the final installment of Legacy of Fire, and we've got a few more superstar authors lined up for Council of Thieves.

Pathfinder #28 see's Clinton Boomer's first Pathfinder cover credit, though you can scope out a pit of his stuff early in Pathfinder #24's article "The Spawn of Rovagug." Top notch stuff. I've been very impressed.

really? wasn't one of the terms of perticipation in the SuperStar competition never publishing anything before?

I believe the terms are no Hardcover credit in the gaming industry.

The waterchick should have been in Kingmaker, waving at potentials with a sword!

Correct. I believe several of our Superstar contestants have had things published in the magaiznes over the years, but that's not a disqualifier.

It's true. I had some articles in Dragon and 2 Dungeon adventures "Man Forever" and "Practical Magic" plus I think over 100 webcolumns on WotC's site when I entered the contest. Neil Spicer, this year's winner, had written some 3PP stuff before entering. Some folks have fussed that it's not entirely fair for people with any kind of publishing credits to be involved in the contest, but I suppose the counter is that there's a difference between being a moonlighting hobbyist who's gotten a few things out there vs. someone who has been doing it as a full-time paid job and has a CV as long as your arm.

Thanks to the OP for the kudos, and glad you enjoyed the adventure and the monsters (I did the proteans, the wyrmskull, and the miengu; and actually I did the shaitan from PF18 that of course saw heavy use in this adventure). I have bits and pieces of a bunch of things coming out later this year that I've contributed to: Vigil in Cities of Golarion, the shambling mounds in Dungeon Denizens Revisited, some parts of the River Kingdoms and Andoran PF books. Another project or two bubbling up; we'll see what comes of it.

Spoiler:
And I keep putting in my ha'penny for an AP set in the frozen north one of these days. Don't know when, if, or how, but that would be the stone cold s##%e in my book!
