Spell sheets?

3.5/d20/OGL

Now that EMA's site is six feet under, I've sadly ran out of a convenient place to aquire complete and detailed spell sheets.

My current task of building a lvl 17th wizard without the aide of a hardcopy of the Spell Compendium is surely to drive me to the brink of sanity.

So my question is; are there any other good places to get these kind of (complete, updated)sheets or am I doomed to make these myself?

I too would like a referral, please.!?

Here is an idea for a total geeked-out fan project....
And this idea would do all of us some good, since Pathfinder is compatible with 3.5. ...

>Take all the spells from the spell compendium and any other 3.5 source (please use good discretion here), and compile them into a fan summary chart with page numbers listed for additional information. The work would need to be absolutely free, since this would tread upon proprietary information. But honestly, I am using Pathfinder, the PHB, and Spell Compendium at my table and see no reason to stop using all three sources. Additionally, extensive "complete" series books also details spells along with many if not most other source guides.

Since we believe 3.5 Never Dies (at least, hopefully, those of us in this forum belive this), lets find someone with a bit of time, resources, and know-how, and passion for this topic to put this together.

I have been able to truly "spell-wrangle" the best with those checklist guides that show spell, duration, components, area, range, casting time, etc., along with its associated page number. That way, as the days pass quickly in-game, I only need to erase check-marks and put new ones in, leaving book or ipod lookup for just-in-time information (like for odd spells not used in a while, or if there is a tactical sticky-wicket that requires more detail.)

In sum: Could someone graciously point us in the direction of this if it already exists? If not, anyone game for this challenging task?

I haven't seen one with Spell Compendium stuff in, but anyone with the time could start with the SRD spreadsheet.

EMA may be gone, but his sheets still live...

You just have to look (I've found all of the ones I use)...

Get one of the spell programs that are free shareware, like Spellforge, to go with Heroforge; or my preference Spellgen.

They allow you to put your list together and print it out in a format that details the effects of the spells in a fair amount of detail.

I don't recall which sources are included in Spellforge, but Spellgen has everything, including the spell Compendium.

You can also customize lists to suit your specific character or campaign.

Very handy.

Sharing mood? If you know of a suitable dark and remote location I'll arrange payment.

That said, I'm going to give Spellgen a try later this week and post here if it works out. If not then I'll start working on putting all the spells in one sheet and ask one of my more compu-wizard buddies to make a handy site out of it like EMA's.

Standard 3.5 Sheet

For those who may not know... EMA's Web site was shut down my a cease and desist order from the Wotci. And, I completely understand and agree with following the law. From what I heard, EMA was offering high-quality power cards for 4e for FREE, even though the Wotci (a word I am borrowing from Mairkurion {tm}) were coming out with that product FOR SALE the following month, and with (from what I hear) poorer quality that the ones freely offered.

One thing I never understood throughout the 2000s (this past decade) is the amount of influence Magic of the Gathering has had on Dungeons & Dragons. In my 20 years of gaming experience prior to the 2000s, I never felt like this was a game for which nobody could ever have all the "pieces." All one needed, or so we believed, was our imaginations.

That said, ... there is nothing illegal to my knowledge with sharing fan-created spell lists. For Crissake!... why our brilliant, imaginative game has been tarnished so deeply with lawsuit, GSL, fear of IP intrusion, copyright lawsuits, Web-site shut downs, etc., just makes me sick.... violently ill just thinking about it....

But here's my question.... Does anyone within earshot of my voice have the skill to take this Ema spell sheet and convert it to Pathfinder, along with the addition of v.3.5, +Spell Compendium +the ancillary spell lists contained herein? I'd really like to have, once and for all, a complete list of everything - and venture a guess - so would a lot of other people. Has anyone alrady been working on this?

the link that digital elf has is a complete listing of all classes spells form all the books that were out just before ema's was closed. if you want a complete list of just the wizard/sorc spell list that uses only the phb and sc then send me an e-mail at pantsman96@hotmail.com and i'll send it to you. I would always make sorcerers and this list became invaluable to me but now i play a verity of classes and don't use it as much. Do take care and have fun because dnd is the best!!
