The creatures of the Pathfinder Campaign Setting are many and varied, from lowly goblin to inscruable aeons. You may have a fistful of skeletons in your miniature army—but what about moonbeasts, derhii, or the Sandpoint Devil? Pathfinder Battles—Legends of Golarion fixes that, and you'll get over 50 new miniatures to add to your collection! Meet five kinds of genies, Sajan the Iconic Monk and Lini the Iconic Druid, as well as Reefclaw, Serpentfolk, Seugathi, and Tatzylwrm! But don't forget! If you buy a case of Pathfinder Battles, you'll be able to grab the Gargantuan Green Dragon miniature (a perfect and terrifying addition to any forest encounter).

Check out the upcoming Pathfinder Battles sets here (along with weekly previews on the Paizo blog), but if you need a few extra miniatures, check out our collection of available Pathfinder Battles singles!

The strewn remains of packages lay around my gaming table, and I have lined up the 55 models of this set, and I have to say I'm doubly impressed, first off the models and paints are great! An awesome variety, and just the special touches like the translucent flames on the pyros. A great breadth of basic models in there as well, more gobs, more orcs, and more kobolds, really a GMs dream for low level villains (and clearly indicative of an upcoming Kobold Army Builder set?).

The second positive comment is significantly less breakage from early cases I've bought, in fact no breakage per say, but I had two models arrive literally missing arms, one was smaller mini, possibly a kobold, the other though was the large bug eyed sword thing, and he was missing one of his sword arms.

The other comment I had which isn't positive is that their is some variation in the quality of the painting. Some of the minis are missing paint steps (unpainted sword blades etc) and other the paint is applied thin and it dried in cracked blotches, almost as if it was air brushed, and was sputtering at the end of the paint. This is by far in the minority, but still that my feedback.

I still haven't received my cases in yet (hopefully today). But I have heard from more than one person on the lesser paint quality.

Galnorag, are you noticing it's the same miniatures that is missing steps? For example, could one of the kobolds have poor quality, but in another booster (the same exact kobold) it's perfectly fine?

As for upcoming builder sets, sorry to disappoint, but Erik has said they unfortunately have not sold as well as the main sets. Nothing was said on permanently stopping them, but I believe right now they are "waiting and seeing" to see how the current builder sets sell first.

Well, the problem is they're doing Builder sets for monster types that miniature collectors already have a bunch of. Even if you just started with Pathfinder Battles: Heroes & Monsters to the present, you likely have a pretty decent amount of goblins and undead.

I'd like Builder sets to focus on miniatures that are nice to have lots of, but aren't already lots of minis on the market for. Elementals would've been a good one, at least before Shattered Star.

Yeah, after I wrote in this thread my general content, with some discontent, I went and saw the other thread of angry angry people.

As for missing steps, I haven't seen two the same, but I haven't looked that close, the sword was most notable because the sword was 1.5" long.it was clearly painted in 3-4 steps, a gold spray over the hilt, then hand painting of the hand, and then the steel on the blade. I can tell because the gold spray is on the blade, but there is no steel on the blade, just the underlying plastic colour.

As for the builder sets, it is a shame if they go away, I've bought one brick of each so far, that is the best I can do
