Gen Con Comes to Your House!

Gen Con 2008 was a great weekend for Paizo! We sold every copy we brought of both the Pathfinder RPG Beta and the Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting; we won 8 ENnie awards, including Best Publisher; we successfully kicked off our Pathfinder Society organized play campaign; we had great receptions at our convention panels; and we debuted a bunch of exclusive products that we're now pleased to offer to paizo.com customers!

We'll start with the Paizo Purple d20 Die. Crystal Caste made these beautiful d20s for us in Paizo purple, with the our logo in the 20-spot. So instead of being critted, now you can be "paizoed!" These jumbo 34mm dice are full of natural 20s, and they're just waiting for you to roll 'em out! (Odds: approximately 1 in 20.)

Another new offering at the Paizo booth was the RPGXplorer Gen Con Special Edition! RPGXplorer is a Windows application for managing character stats, spells, equipment, feats, and more. Finally, we've got an alternate cover for Pathfinder #13, the first installment of the new Second Darkness Pathfinder Adventure Path! In this version, artist Steve Prescott presents Allevrah, an elven general who will become very important as Second Darkness progresses. This limited edition will not be reprinted!
