This is a much needed miniature for anyone with a falcon animal companion. I am very happy about its inclusion in this set. It has just the right amount of detail. It doesn't need much for the purpose it serves. Utilizing the flying peg was the right choice. The peg is surprisingly sturdy.

Too plain for size, needed more detail

From the detail over the painting to the pose this mini is flawless and can be used for an animal, animal companion, familiar or player character/NPC polymorphed into animal shape.

Pedestrian in pose, and unambitiously colored & highlighted. That said, it's the only painted-plastic hawk miniature (normal size) to date, and there's nothing at all wrong with it. And it's utility for druids, rangers, & lower level wilderness adventures is simply staggering: if only most figures could see as much use as this one could.
